“Por causa do Senhor, sujeitem-se a toda autoridade constituída entre os homens; …” – 1ª Pedro 2:13
Sim, o próprio Cristo se submeteu a Pôncio Pilatos, não se insurgiu e nem solicitou nenhum tipo de revolta ou manifestação contra as autoridades romanas ou judaicas, Ele simplesmente se submeteu por saber que toda a autoridade vem de Deus.
Veja o que diz em Romanos 13:1 e 2 “Toda a alma esteja sujeita às autoridades superiores; porque não há autoridade que não venha de Deus; e as autoridades que há foram ordenadas por Deus. Por isso quem resiste à autoridade resiste à ordenação de Deus; e os que resistem trarão sobre si mesmos a condenação.”.
A única exceção a esta regra está em Atos 5:29 “… respondendo Pedro e os apóstolos, disseram: Mais importa obedecer a Deus do que aos homens.”. Se for algo contra a vontade de Deus não obedeça!

Must I Obey Authorities?
“Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority…” – 1 Peter 2:13
Yes, Christ Himself submitted to Pontius Pilate; He did not rebel, nor did He call for any kind of revolt or protest against the Roman or Jewish authorities. He simply submitted, knowing that all authority comes from God.
Observe what is said in Romans 13:1-2: “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.”
The only exception to this rule is found in Acts 5:29: “…Peter and the other apostles replied: ‘We must obey God rather than human beings!'” If it is something against the will of God, do not obey!
