Lemos na bíblia em 2ª Tessalonicenses 2:11 e 12
“E por isso Deus lhes enviará a operação do erro, para que creiam a mentira; Para que sejam julgados todos os que não creram a verdade, antes tiveram prazer na iniquidade.”
Especialmente em nossos tempos, muitas pessoas estão dando ouvidos a mentiras como se tivessem perdido a capacidade de diferenciar o certo do errado. Alguns até negam a verdade mesmo se você apresentar todos os fatos e provas possíveis, ainda assim, alguns preferem acreditar na mentira. Muitas vezes eu me perguntava: O que está acontecendo com o mundo que prefere defender o errado e acreditar na mentira?
Após ter lido o versículo citado no início desse artigo, entendi que, aquelas pessoas que tiveram a oportunidade de ouvir a verdade e, por seu livre arbítrio optaram por negar a verdade, o próprio Deus permitiu que eles acreditassem na mentira e fossem envolvidos pelo engano. Isso é terrível. É como se você tivesse a opção de escolher entre um pedaço de papel e uma barra de ouro e, de repente você escolhesse o pedaço de papel e jogasse o ouro fora.
O que fazer neste caso com quem simplesmente não acredita na verdade? Em Tito 3:10 e 11 vemos o seguinte: “Ao homem herege, depois de uma e outra admoestação, evita-o, Sabendo que esse tal está pervertido, e peca, estando já em si mesmo condenado.”. Não vale a pena continuar insistindo em algo que a pessoa já decidiu não crer. Enquanto isso existem milhares de pessoas que ainda não tiveram a oportunidade de ouvir a Palavra de Deus. Whoever Rejects the Truth will be Delivered the Lie?
We read in the bible in 2nd Thessalonians 2:11 and 12
“And that is why God will send them the operation of error, so that they may believe the lie; So that all those who did not believe in the truth would be judged, but had pleasure in iniquity before. ”
Especially in our times, many people are listening to lies as if they have lost the ability to differentiate right from wrong. Some even deny the truth even if you present all the possible facts and evidence, yet some prefer to believe the lie. I often asked myself: What is happening to the world that prefers to defend the wrong and believe the lie?
After reading the verse quoted at the beginning of this article, I understood that those people who had the opportunity to hear the truth and, by their free will, chose to deny the truth, God Himself allowed them to believe the lie and be involved in the deception. . That is terrible. It is as if you have the option to choose between a piece of paper and a gold bar, and suddenly you choose the piece of paper and throw the gold away.
What to do in this case with someone who just doesn’t believe in the truth? In Titus 3:10 and 11 we see the following: “To the heretic man, after one and another admonition, he avoids it, Knowing that this one is perverted, and sins, being already condemned in himself.” There is no point in continuing to insist on something that the person has already decided not to believe. In the meantime, there are thousands of people who have not yet had the opportunity to hear the Word of God. Go ahead, preach the gospel!
