Nós mesmos somos o maior obstáculo para alcançar a santidade. Nossas fraquezas e desejos nos levam para o pecado com tanta velocidade que, muitas vezes, só vamos perceber isso quando já estamos pecando. A maioria das pessoas tenta lutar sozinha contra isso e não consegue ir muito longe. Precisamos entender que sem Deus não há como vencer essa batalha que é travada em nossa mente e corpo diariamente.
Aprendo com a bíblia que devo resistir ao diabo mas, também aprendo que devo fugir dos desejos da carne. Se algo oferece tentação para satisfazer a minha carne, me levando a pecar contra Deus, é disso que eu preciso fugir e não ficar e oferecer resistência, como muitos tem feito.
Para conseguir sair vencedor dessa luta diária, preciso evitar tudo o que me leva a pecar, seja aquilo que eu vejo, pessoas que me influenciam, os sites que eu visito, etc. Minha mente precisa estar cheia da vontade de Deus. Se houver luz, as trevas não terão espaço para preencher. Oração e leitura diária da bíblia são fundamentais. Essa é a chave para a santidade.

What is the Greatest Obstacle to my Holiness?
We read in the bible in James 1:14
“But each one is tempted, when he is drawn and enfolded by his own desire.”
We ourselves are the biggest obstacle to achieving holiness. Our weaknesses and desires drive us into sin so quickly that we often don’t realize it until we’re already sinning. Most people try to fight it on their own and can’t get very far. We need to understand that without God there is no way to win this battle that is fought in our mind and body daily.
I learn from the bible that I must resist the devil, but I also learn that I must flee from the desires of the flesh. If something offers temptation to satisfy my flesh, causing me to sin against God, that’s what I need to run away from and not stand and resist, as many have done.
In order to be victorious in this daily struggle, I need to avoid everything that makes me sin, be it what I see, people who influence me, the websites I visit, etc. My mind needs to be filled with the will of God. If there is light, darkness will have no space to fill. Prayer and daily bible reading are essential. This is the key to holiness.

Wǒmen zìjǐ shì chéng shèng de zuìdà zhàng’ài. Wǒmen de ruòdiǎn hé yùwàng rúcǐ xùnsù de qūshǐ wǒmen fànzuì, yǐ zhìyú wǒmen chángcháng zài wǒmen yǐjīng fànzuì shí cái yìshí dào zhè yīdiǎn. Dà duōshù rén shìtú kào zìjǐ lái duìkàng tā, bìngqiě wúfǎ zǒu dé hěn yuǎn. Wǒmen xūyào míngbái, méiyǒu shàngdì, jiù wúfǎ yíngdé zhè chǎng měitiān zài wǒmen de sīxiǎng hé shēntǐ zhōng jìnxíng de zhàndòu.
Wǒ cóng shèngjīng zhōngxué dào wǒ bìxū dǐkàng móguǐ, dàn wǒ yě zhīdào wǒ bìxū táolí ròutǐ de yùwàng. Rúguǒ yǒu shé me yòuhuò mǎnzú wǒ de ròutǐ, shǐ wǒ dézuì shén, nà jiùshì wǒ xūyào táobì de, ér bùshì xiàng xǔduō rén nàyàng zhànzhe dǐkàng.
Wèile zài rìcháng dòuzhēng zhōng qǔdé shènglì, wǒ xūyào bìmiǎn yīqiè ràng wǒ fànzuì de shìqíng, wúlùn shì wǒ suǒ kàn dào de, yǐngxiǎng wǒ de rén, wǒ fǎngwèn de wǎngzhàn děng děng. Wǒ de xīn xūyào chōngmǎn shén de zhǐyì. Rúguǒ yǒu guāng, hēi’àn jiù méiyǒu kòng jiān kěyǐ tiánchōng. Dǎogào hé měitiān yuèdú shèngjīng shì bì bùkě shǎo de. Zhè shì chéng shèng de guānjiàn.
