Lemos na bíblia em Gálatas 3:24 e 25
“Assim, a lei foi o nosso tutor até Cristo, para que fôssemos justificados pela fé. Agora, porém, tendo chegado a fé, já não estamos mais sob o controle do tutor.”
Não, não precisa guardar o sábado, a bíblia deixa claro que a salvação não é pela guarda da Lei, veja o que diz em João 5:24 “Na verdade, na verdade vos digo que quem ouve a minha palavra, e crê naquele que me enviou, tem a vida eterna, e não entrará em condenação, mas passou da morte para a vida.”.
Cristo, com seu sacrifício, cumpriu toda a lei e conseguiu resumir toda a lei e os profetas em dois simples mandamentos, veja em Mateus 22:37-40 “Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo o teu coração, … Amarás o teu próximo como a ti mesmo. Destes dois mandamentos dependem toda a lei e os profetas.”.
Não há necessidade de cumprir nenhuma tradição judaica. A igreja é diferente de Israel. João 3:17 e 18 “Porque Deus enviou o seu Filho ao mundo, não para que condenasse o mundo, mas para que o mundo fosse salvo por ele. Quem crê nele não é condenado; mas quem não crê já está condenado, porquanto não crê no nome do unigênito Filho de Deus.”. Pense nisso!

Do I need to keep the Sabbath?
We read in the bible in Galatians 3:24 and 25
“So the law was our tutor until Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Now, however, having come to faith, we are no longer under the control of the tutor.”
No, you don’t need to keep the Sabbath, the bible makes it clear that salvation is not by keeping the Law, see what it says in John 5:24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes in him who sent me, has eternal life, and will not come into condemnation, but has passed from death to life.”
Christ, with his sacrifice, fulfilled all the law and managed to summarize all the law and the prophets in two simple commandments, see in Matthew 22:37-40 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, … You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
There is no need to comply with any Jewish tradition. The church is different from Israel. John 3:17 and 18 “For God sent his Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. Whoever believes in him is not condemned; but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” Think about it!
