A Segunda coisa é que, quando Deus nos dá a Cristo é algo definitivo como vemos em João 6:37 “Todo o que o Pai me dá virá a mim; e o que vem a mim de maneira nenhuma o lançarei fora.”. Portanto, como lemos em João 5:24 se você crer, já tem a vida eterna, já passou da morte para a vida e não há nenhuma condenação para aquele que crê.

Can I Lose My Salvation?
We read in the Bible in John 5:24
“In truth, in truth, I say to you, whoever hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and will not be condemned, but has passed from death to life.”
I know that many people have doubts about this issue because some passages in the Bible can leave doubts about having to do something to keep us safe. This creates fear and confusion in the hearts of Christians who believe that, through their own efforts, they can guarantee the grace of salvation that Christ gives us.
First we need to know that it is not by works, as it says in Ephesians 2: 8, 9 “For by grace you are saved, through faith; and this does not come from you, it is the gift of God. It does not come from works, so that no one can boast; ”. So no matter how hard you try, not all the effort in the world could guarantee what Jesus achieved on the cross for you. If he already did then rest assured, you just have to believe.
The second thing is that when God gives us to Christ it is something definitive as we see in John 6:37 “Everything that the Father gives me will come to me; and whatever comes to me I will by no means cast it out. ” Therefore, as we read in John 5:24 if you believe, you already have eternal life, you have already passed from death to life and there is no condemnation for him who believes.
