A sociedade atual permite e incentiva a vulgaridade sem limites. Homens e mulheres sensualizando a todo o momento e mostrando cada vez mais seus corpos à medida que fica cada vez mais difícil resistir à tentação. Veja 1ª Coríntios 6:19-20 “Ou vocês não sabem que o seu corpo é santuário do Espírito Santo, que habita em vocês e que lhes foi dado por Deus? Vocês NÃO pertencem a si mesmos, pois foram comprados por alto preço. Portanto, GLORIFIQUEM a Deus com o seu corpo.”.
Mas nós cristãos não devemos ceder a exploração / exposição do corpo. Nossa cidadania é celestial e não podemos nos curvar para as práticas deste mundo mas, sim, nos transformar pela renovação da nossa mente. Veja Efésios 5:3-4 “Que NÃO haja entre vocês imoralidade sexual, nem obscenidade, nem conversas tolas, nem gracejos imorais, que são INCONVENIENTES, mas, ao invés disso, ações de graças.”
É a leitura diária da bíblia e oração constante que pode fortalecer a nossa fé e nos ajudar a cumprir em nós a vontade de Deus. Veja 2ª Timóteo 2:19 “… O Senhor conhece os que são seus, e qualquer que profere o nome de Cristo APARTE-SE da iniquidade.”.

Can I Show My Body?
“Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but WOE TO THE PERSON through whom they come!” – Matthew 18:7
Today’s society allows and encourages limitless vulgarity. Men and women are sexualizing themselves at every moment, showing more and more of their bodies as it becomes increasingly difficult to resist temptation. See 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are NOT your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, GLORIFY God with your body.”
But we Christians must not give in to the exploitation or exposure of the body. Our citizenship is heavenly, and we cannot bow to the practices of this world; instead, we must be transformed by the renewing of our minds. See Ephesians 5:3-4: “But among you there must NOT be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity… nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are OUT OF PLACE, but rather thanksgiving.”
It is the daily reading of the Bible and constant prayer that can strengthen our faith and help us fulfill God’s will in us. See 2 Timothy 2:19: “…The Lord knows those who are his, and, Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must TURN AWAY from wickedness.”
