“… Louco! esta noite te pedirão a tua alma; e o que tens preparado, para quem será?” – Lucas 12:20
Enquanto houver pessoas necessitadas e você tiver sobrando, e puder ajudar, você comete pecado se acumular. Veja o que diz em Tiago 4:17 “Aquele, pois, que sabe fazer o bem e não o faz, comete pecado.”.
Algumas pessoas que guardam roupas enquanto outros não tem o que vestir; outras guardam comida e acabam jogando fora enquanto outros não tem o que comer. Infelizmente muitos são apegados a coisas e esquecem da maior importância que são as pessoas.
Veja o que diz em 1ª Timóteo 6:8 “Tendo, porém, sustento, e com que nos cobrirmos, estejamos com isso contentes.”. Os recursos “a mais” que Deus te permite ter, são para abençoar aqueles que não tem.
Por fim quero que pense no que diz em Provérbios 21:13 “O que tapa o seu ouvido ao clamor do pobre, ele mesmo também clamará e não será ouvido.”

May I Accumulate Wealth?
“…‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’” – Luke 12:20
As long as there are people in need and you have more than enough—and can help—you commit sin if you choose to accumulate instead of sharing. See what James 4:17 says: “If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”
Some people keep clothes while others have nothing to wear; others store food and end up throwing it away while others have nothing to eat. Unfortunately, many cling to possessions and forget what matters most: people.
See what 1 Timothy 6:8 says: “But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.” The extra resources that God allows you to have are meant to bless those who have nothing.
Finally, reflect on what Proverbs 21:13 says: “Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered.”
