Quando Deus orientou Moisés a subir ao monte e lhe entregou os 10 mandamentos o povo estava se destruindo no pecado e, se continuasse desta forma, em aproximadamente 4 gerações não haveria mais ninguém. Neste caso teria sido em vão Deus ter livrado o povo da escravidão no Egito.
Se você parar pra prestar atenção, os 10 mandamentos são orientações para a manutenção da vida. Antes o povo praticava roubos, homicídios, era ganancioso, idólatra e uma série de outras coisas que os levariam a morte. Após a determinação dos 10 mandamentos isso foi controlado e assim o povo de Deus foi crescendo de forma sustentável e contínua. Hoje, a base das Leis da maioria dos países do mundo vêm dos 10 mandamentos.
Cristo resumiu os 10 mandamentos em 2 como vemos no início deste artigo. Este resumo não significa que os 10 mandamentos foram anulados, porque se você ama a Deus acima de tudo e ao seu próximo como a você mesmo, você certamente vai cumprir grande parte dos 10 mandamentos sem problema algum. Cristo só alertou para o foco no que é mais importante.

Why Do We Need 10 Commandments?
We read in the bible in Matthew 22: 37-40
“And Jesus said to him: You will love the Lord your God with all your heart… You will love your neighbor as yourself. These two commandments depend on the whole law and the prophets. ”
When God directed Moses to climb the mountain and gave him the 10 commandments, the people were destroying themselves in sin and, if they continued in this way, in approximately 4 generations there would be no one else. In this case, it would have been in vain for God to have freed the people from slavery in Egypt.

為什麼我們需要十誡？
Wèishéme wǒmen xūyào shíjiè?
我們在馬太福音22：37-40中讀聖經

Zhè fèn zhāiyào bìng bù yìwèizhe zhè shíjiè yǐ bèi fèichú, yīnwèi rúguǒ nín shǒuxiān ài shàngdì, ér nín de línjū yě xiàng nín zìjǐ yīyàng, nàme nín kěndìng huì bǎoliú zhè shíjiè zhōng de dà bùfèn ér méiyǒu rènhé wèntí. Jīdū zhǐ jǐnggàoguò yào bǎ zhòngdiǎn fàng zài zuì zhòngyào de shìqíng shàng.
