Lemos na bíblia em 1ª Timóteo 6:10
“Porque o amor ao dinheiro é a raiz de toda a espécie de males; e nessa cobiça alguns se desviaram da fé, e se traspassaram a si mesmos com muitas dores.”
Antigamente o poder do dinheiro não falava tão alto quanto hoje. Multiplicaram-se sobremaneira as coisas que o dinheiro pode comprar. Os prazeres, as realizações, a fama e o poder são todos compráveis e, quem possuir dinheiro pode ter, ainda que momentaneamente, cada uma destas coisas quando quiser ou, enquanto o dinheiro durar.
Nós seres humanos naturalmente lutamos contra a dor, contra a tristeza, contra a depressão e, portanto, perseguimos a felicidade e a realização seja ela física ou emocional.
Hoje em dia costumamos ser bombardeados por propagandas com pessoas se realizando através deste ou daquele produto ou serviço. Nossa mente está praticamente 24 horas por dia repleta deste tipo de mensagem (propaganda). Quem pode negar que o sexo é uma coisa boa e prazerosa? Hoje em dia você pode comprar o sexo na qualidade e na quantidade que quiser, basta para isso, ter dinheiro suficiente. E o que dizer da comida? Todos os sabores que as mais variadas cozinhas possam te proporcionar. Drogas e remédios que aliviam ou o impedem de sentir dor. E por ai vai.
O problema é que precisamos de muito dinheiro, pois, após experimentarmos destas coisas, precisaremos de uma quantidade cada vez maior para manter a felicidade momentânea que eles proporcionam e, para isso cada vez maior quantidade de dinheiro será necessária.
E se pudéssemos ter todas estas coisas de graça? Os que caminham com Deus experimentam da plenitude de todas as coisas. Felicidade que não é momentânea, mas constante. Mesmo em meio a adversidade os que caminham com Deus, conseguem sentir paz em seu coração. Não precisam de muito para sobreviver e sentem um prazer incomensurável ao repartir com aquele que precisa.
Mas infelizmente a maioria de nós vai continuar refém do dinheiro e, dispostos a fazer o que for preciso para consegui-lo. Talvez não tenhamos sequer tempo de gastá-lo.

Why Do We Love Money So Much?
We read in the bible in 1st Timothy 6:10
“For the love of money is the root of all sorts of evils; and in that covetousness some turned away from the faith, and pierced themselves with many pains.”
In the past, the power of money did not speak as loudly as it does today. The things that money can buy have greatly multiplied. Pleasures, achievements, fame, and power are all buyable, and anyone who has money can have, even momentarily, each of these things whenever he wants or as long as the money lasts.
We human beings naturally struggle with pain, sadness, depression, and therefore we pursue happiness and fulfillment whether physical or emotional.
Nowadays we are usually bombarded by advertisements with people performing through this or that product or service. Our minds are practically full 24 hours a day with this type of message (propaganda). Who can deny that sex is a good and pleasurable thing? Nowadays you can buy sex in the quality and quantity you want, just having enough money. And what about the food? All the flavors that the most varied cuisines can provide. Drugs and remedies that relieve or stop you from feeling pain. And so on.
The problem is that we need a lot of money, because after we experience these things, we will need more and more to maintain the momentary happiness they provide, and for that more and more money will be needed.
What if we could have all these things for free? Those who walk with God experience the fullness of all things. Happiness that is not momentary but constant. Even in the midst of adversity, those who walk with God can feel peace in their hearts. They don’t need much to survive and they feel immeasurable pleasure in sharing it with those who need it.
But unfortunately most of us will remain hostage to money and willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Maybe we don’t even have time to spend it.

為什麼我們如此愛錢？
Wèishéme wǒmen rúcǐ ài qián?
我們在聖經中讀到提摩太前書 6:10
“貪財是萬惡之源；有的貪婪，就背離了真道，用許多痛苦把自己刺透了。”
過去，金錢的力量並沒有像今天這樣大聲說話。金錢可以買到的東西大大增加了。快樂、成就、名譽、權力都是可以買到的，任何有錢的人都可以隨時擁有，甚至是暫時的，只要有錢，只要有錢。
我們人類自然會與痛苦、悲傷、抑鬱作鬥爭，因此我們追求幸福和滿足，無論是身體上的還是情感上的。
如今，我們經常被廣告轟炸，人們通過這種或那種產品或服務進行表演。我們的頭腦幾乎一天 24 小時都被這種類型的信息（宣傳）填滿。誰能否認性是一件美好而愉快的事情？現在你可以買到你想要的質量和數量的性愛，只要有足夠的錢。食物呢？最多樣化的美食可以提供的所有風味。減輕或阻止您感到疼痛的藥物和補救措施。等等。
問題是我們需要很多錢，因為在經歷了這些事情之後，我們需要越來越多的錢來維持它們提供的一時幸福，為此需要越來越多的錢。
如果我們可以免費擁有所有這些東西會怎樣？與神同行的人會經歷萬物的豐滿。幸福不是一時的，而是永恆的。即使身處逆境，與神同行的人也能感受到內心的平安。他們不需要太多東西就可以生存，並且與需要它的人分享它時，他們感到無比的快樂。
但不幸的是，我們中的大多數人仍將成為金錢的人質，並願意不惜一切代價獲得它。也許我們甚至沒有時間花它。

Guòqù, jīnqián de lìliàng bìng méiyǒu xiàng jīntiān zhèyàng dà shēng shuōhuà. Jīnqián kěyǐ mǎi dào de dōngxī dàdà zēngjiāle. Kuàilè, chéngjiù, míngyù, quánlì dōu shì kěyǐ mǎi dào de, rènhé yǒu qián de rén dōu kěyǐ suíshí yǒngyǒu, shènzhì shì zhànshí de, zhǐyào yǒu qián, zhǐyào yǒu qián.
Wǒmen rénlèi zìrán huì yǔ tòngkǔ, bēishāng, yìyù zuò dòuzhēng, yīncǐ wǒmen zhuīqiú xìngfú hé mǎnzú, wúlùn shì shēntǐ shàng de háishìqínggǎn shàng de.
Rújīn, wǒmen jīngcháng bèi guǎnggào hōngzhà, rénmen tōngguò zhè zhǒng huò nà zhǒng chǎnpǐn huò fúwù jìnxíng biǎoyǎn. Wǒmen de tóunǎo jīhū yītiān 24 xiǎoshí dōu bèi zhè zhǒnglèi xíng de xìnxī (xuānchuán) tián mǎn. Shuí néng fǒurèn xìng shì yī jiàn měihǎo ér yúkuài de shìqíng? Xiànzài nǐ kěyǐ mǎi dào nǐ xiǎng yào de zhìliàng hé shùliàng dì xìng’ài, zhǐyào yǒu zúgòu de qián. Shíwù ne? Zuì duōyàng huà dì měishí kěyǐ tígōng de suǒyǒu fēngwèi. Jiǎnqīng huò zǔzhǐ nín gǎndào téngtòng di yàowù hé bǔjiù cuòshī. Děng děng.
Wèntí shì wǒmen xūyào hěnduō qián, yīnwèi zài jīnglìle zhèxiē shì qíng zhīhòu, wǒmen xūyào yuè lái yuè duō de qián lái wéichí tāmen tígōng de yīshí xìngfú, wèi cǐ xūyào yuè lái yuè duō de qián.
Rúguǒ wǒmen kěyǐ miǎnfèi yǒngyǒu suǒyǒu zhèxiē dōngxī huì zěnyàng? Yǔ shén tóngxíng de rén huì jīnglì wànwù de fēngmǎn. Xìngfú bùshì yīshí de, ér shì yǒnghéng de. Jíshǐ shēn chǔ nìjìng, yǔ shén tóngxíng de rén yě néng gǎnshòu dào nèixīn de píng’ān. Tāmen bù xūyào tài duō dōngxī jiù kěyǐ shēngcún, bìngqiě yǔ xūyào tā de rén fēnxiǎng tā shí, tāmen gǎndào wúbǐ de kuàilè.
Dàn bùxìng de shì, wǒmen zhōng de dà duōshù rén réng jiāng chéngwéi jīnqián de rénzhì, bìng yuànyì bùxī yīqiè dàijià huòdé tā. Yěxǔ wǒmen shènzhì méiyǒu shíjiān huā tā.

Wǒmen kěyǐ suíshí jìnrù shén de tóng zài, wèntí shì: Nǐ zhǔnbèi hǎole ma? Nǐ shìfǒu xiāngxìn jīdū shì nǐ wéiyī hè zúgòu de jiù zhǔ? Zhè yīnggāi shì nín zuì guānxīn de wèntí.
Wǒ xiǎng bāngzhù nǐ liǎojiě shàngdì duì nǐ shēngmìng de zhǐyì. Zài cǐ yèmiàn de dǐngbù huò dǐbù, yǒu yīgè “liánxì fāngshì” liànjiē, nín kěyǐ zài báitiān huò wǎnshàng de rènhé shíjiān xiàng wǒ fāsòng xiāoxī, yǐjí qídǎo qǐngqiú huò rènhé shèngyú de wèntí.
