Moisés passou 40 anos no deserto antes de estar pronto para liderar o povo de Deus. Ele precisava presenciar a glória de Deus para não se impressionar com o poder de faraó. Veja o que diz em Êxodo 7:1 “Então disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Eis que te tenho posto por deus sobre Faraó, e Arão, teu irmão, será o teu profeta.”.
Davi passou anos nas cavernas sendo perseguido antes de sentar no trono. Ele foi ungido rei ainda jovem, mas entre a unção e a coroação houve anos de fuga. Anos de solidão, temor e desespero. Foi ali que Davi escreveu os Salmos que consolam milhões até hoje. Ali Davi aprendeu a clamar a Deus com a sinceridade e a intensidade de quem teme a morte. Veja o que Davi disse em Salmos 56:3 e 4 “Em qualquer tempo em que eu temer, confiarei em ti. Após passar por um sofrimento terrível e sentir que Deus o havia abandonado, veja o que diz em Jó 42:5 “Meus ouvidos já tinham ouvido a teu respeito, mas agora os meus olhos te viram.”.
José foi vendido como escravo e preso injustamente. Após anos na prisão José aprendeu como administrar e saiu de lá para ser governador da maior e mais poderosa nação da época.
O próprio Cristo passou 40 dias no deserto antes de iniciar publicamente seu ministério. Foi no deserto que Jesus se preparou para cumprir a vontade de Deus na Cruz.
Infelizmente nós temos medo da solidão e do silêncio. Enchemos nossa vida de atividades e relacionamentos e não sobra tempo para ficarmos a sós com Deus. Quando tem muitas vozes você não consegue ouvir a voz de Deus. Quando tem muitas opiniões você não consegue seguir a direção correta. Quando há muitas distrações o verdadeiro propósito fica encoberto. Por isso Deus permite a solidão e o silêncio.
Não se esqueça de que a solidão e o silêncio têm prazo para acabar e então, você vai estar exatamente onde Deus te quer para que Ele possa te usar com honra e poder.

Why Do We Suffer Loneliness and the Silence of God?
“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” – Psalm 27:14
Moses spent 40 years in the desert before he was ready to lead God’s people. He needed to behold the glory of God so that he would not be impressed by Pharaoh’s power. See what it says in Exodus 7:1: “Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.’”
David spent years in caves while being pursued before he sat on the throne. He was anointed king while still young, but between the anointing and the coronation there were years of fleeing. Years of loneliness, fear, and despair. It was there that David wrote the Psalms that comfort millions to this day. There David learned to cry out to God with the sincerity and intensity of someone who fears death. See what David said in Psalm 56:3–4: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise — in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
After going through terrible suffering and feeling that God had abandoned him, see what Job says in Job 42:5: “My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.”
Joseph was sold as a slave and imprisoned unjustly. After years in prison, Joseph learned how to administer, and from there he rose to become governor of the greatest and most powerful nation of that time.
Christ Himself spent 40 days in the desert before publicly beginning His ministry. It was in the desert that Jesus prepared to fulfill the will of God on the Cross.
Unfortunately, we are afraid of loneliness and silence. We fill our lives with activities and relationships, and there is no time left to be alone with God. When there are many voices, you cannot hear the voice of God. When there are many opinions, you cannot follow the right direction. When there are many distractions, the true purpose becomes hidden. For this reason, God allows loneliness and silence.
Do not forget that loneliness and silence have an expiration date, and then you will be exactly where God wants you to be so that He can use you with honor and power.
