De fato, muitos filmes de terror geram o pavor no coração das pessoas e isso pode enfraquecer a fé no Deus Todo Poderoso; levando as pessoas a acreditarem que – em alguns casos – o demônio pode vencer Deus e que as trevas podem dominar sobre a luz.
A bíblia deixa claro que o conflito entre as trevas e a luz será vencido definitivamente por Cristo com apenas um sopro de sua boca quando derrotará permanentemente a satanás. O cristão verdadeiro tem o Espírito Santo vivendo dentro de si e não pode – de nenhuma maneira – ser possuído por nenhum demônio.
