O foco da vida do cristão verdadeiro é anunciar a Cristo para o mundo. Neste caminho podemos assumir cargos de liderança, governo e nos destacar por alguma habilidade que desenvolvemos mas, aonde estivermos, devemos saber que Deus nos permitiu estar ali para sermos exemplo e, para usar a oportunidade que tivermos para levar o evangelho.
Acontece que muitas pessoas, ao ler o antigo testamento e ver as promessas que Deus faz para Israel, (promessas de destaque, liderança e domínio sobre os povos), alguns imaginam que isso também serve para a igreja. Ledo engano!
A igreja vai passar por aflições, perseguições, lutas, tribulações. Isso tudo já nos foi dito por Cristo na bíblia. Não devemos confundir o que foi prometido para Israel (bênçãos terrenas), com o que foi prometido para a igreja (bênçãos celestiais). Nossa recompensa está em Cristo e nos céus. Não tenha dúvida, os que crerem entrarão no primeiro dia da eternidade no paraíso com o Senhor.

Should Christians Seek Prominence or Leadership?
We read in the bible in John 3:30 and 31
“He needs to increase and I need to decrease. The one who comes from above is above all; …”
The focus of a true Christian’s life is to announce Christ to the world. On this path we can assume leadership positions, government and stand out for some skill that we have developed, but wherever we are, we must know that God allowed us to be there to be an example and to use the opportunity we have to take the gospel.
It turns out that many people, when reading the Old Testament and seeing the promises that God makes to Israel, (promises of prominence, leadership and dominion over the people), some imagine that this also works for the church. A mistake!
The church will go through afflictions, persecutions, struggles, tribulations. This has all been told to us by Christ in the bible. We must not confuse what was promised to Israel (earthly blessings) with what was promised to the church (heavenly blessings). Our reward is in Christ and in heaven. Have no doubt, those who believe will enter the first day of eternity into paradise with the Lord.

Wǒmen zài shèngjīng zhōng dú dào yuēhàn fúyīn 3:30 Hé 31
“tā xūyào zēngjiā, wǒ xūyào jiǎnshǎo. Cóng shàng ér lái de zhìgāowúshàng; ……”
zhēn jīdū tú shēnghuó de zhòngdiǎn shì xiàng shìjiè xuāngào jīdū. Zài zhè tiáo dàolù shàng, wǒmen kěyǐ dānrèn lǐngdǎo zhíwèi, guǎnlǐ zhíwèi, bìng yīn wǒmen fāzhǎn de mǒu xiē jìnéng ér tuōyǐng’érchū, dàn wúlùn wǒmen shēn zài hé chù, wǒmen dōu bìxū zhīdào shàngdì yǔnxǔ wǒmen zài nàlǐ chéngwéi bǎngyàng, bìng lìyòng wǒmen bìxū zhuā zhù de jīhuì fúyīn.
Shìshí zhèngmíng, xǔduō rén zài yuèdú jiù yuē bìng kàn dào shàngdì duì yǐsèliè de yīngxǔ (xiǎnhè, lǐngdǎo hé tǒngzhì rénmín de yīngxǔ) shí, yǒuxiē rén rènwéi zhè yě shìyòng yú jiàohuì. Cuòwù!
Jiàohuì huì jīnglì kǔnàn, bīpò, zhēngzhá, mónàn. Zhè yīqiè dōu shì jīdū zài shèngjīng zhōng gàosù wǒmen de. Wǒmen bùnéng jiāng yīngxǔ gěi yǐsèliè de (dìshàng de zhùfú) yǔ yìng xǔ gěi jiàohuì de (tiānshàng de zhùfú) hùnxiáo. Wǒmen de jiǎngshǎng zài jīdū lǐ, zài tiānshàng. Háo wú yíwèn, nàxiē xiāngxìn de rén huì zài yǒnghéng de dì yī tiān jìnrù yǔ zhǔ tóng zài de lèyuán.

Wǒmen kěyǐ suíshí jìnrù shén de tóng zài, wèntí shì: Nǐ zhǔnbèi hǎole ma? Nǐ shìfǒu xiāngxìn jīdū shì nǐ wéiyī hè zúgòu de jiù zhǔ? Zhè yīnggāi shì nín zuì guānxīn de wèntí.
Wǒ xiǎng bāngzhù nǐ liǎojiě shàngdì duì nǐ shēngmìng de zhǐyì. Zài cǐ yèmiàn de dǐngbù huò dǐbù, yǒu yīgè “liánxì fāngshì” liànjiē, nín kěyǐ zài báitiān huò wǎnshàng de rènhé shíjiān xiàng wǒ fāsòng xiāoxī, yǐjí qídǎo qǐngqiú huò rènhé shèngyú de wèntí.
