Em conclusão, não podemos oferecer a Deus nada que já não Lhe pertença, mas Ele se agrada quando entregamos a nossa própria vida em obediência, louvor sincero e atitudes de amor ao próximo. What Can I Offer to God?
“Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, fulfill your vows to the Most High, and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” – Psalm 50:14-15
All things that exist already belong to God. In this sense, what else can we offer Him?
Our own body (a life of consecration)
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” – Romans 12:1
Praise and confession of the lips
“Through Him, then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge His name.” – Hebrews 13:15
Doing good and sharing (good works)
“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” – Hebrews 13:16
Conclusion: We cannot offer God anything that does not already belong to Him, but He delights when we give Him our very lives in obedience, sincere praise, and acts of love toward others.
