Perdoar é esquecer a dívida e continuar a vida sem cobrar ao devedor. O verdadeiro perdão nos leva a orar e interceder por aquele que nos deve ou fez algo contra nós, independente da raiva que estamos sentindo. Lembre-se do que diz em Mateus 5:44 “… Amai a vossos inimigos, bendizei os que vos maldizem, fazei bem aos que vos odeiam, e orai pelos que vos maltratam e vos perseguem; para que sejais filhos do vosso Pai que está nos céus;”.
A bíblia nos ensina duas coisas importantes, que nossa luta não é contra a carne ou sangue, mas sim contra principados e potestades nas regiões celestiais e, outra coisa é que devemos amar nosso próximo, inclusive nossos inimigos.
Lembre-se de que você também é devedor e não pode pagar. Sim, você e eu devemos a Deus a nossa salvação porque não temos condição de pagar o preço por nossos pecados. O qual foi pago na cruz por Cristo. E recebemos isso sem merecer absolutamente nada.
Portanto, quando tiver dificuldade de perdoar, não se esqueça de que também foi perdoado por Deus.

What Is Forgiveness?
“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.” – Mark 11:25
To forgive is to cancel the debt and move on with life without demanding payment from the debtor. True forgiveness leads us to pray and intercede for those who owe us or have done something against us, regardless of the anger we may be feeling. Remember what Matthew 5:44 says: “… Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.”
The Bible teaches us two important truths: first, that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in the heavenly realms; second, that we must love our neighbor, including our enemies.
Remember that you also are a debtor and cannot pay. Yes, you and I owe our salvation to God because we have no ability to pay the price for our sins. That price was paid on the cross by Christ, and we received it without deserving anything at all.
Therefore, when you find it difficult to forgive, do not forget that you too have been forgiven by God.
