Lemos na bíblia em 1ª Pedro 3:15
“… estai sempre preparados para responder com mansidão e temor a qualquer que vos pedir a razão da esperança que há em vós, …”
Como diz o versículo acima, precisamos estar sempre preparados para responder sobre a razão da nossa fé, ou seja, porque cremos em Cristo, porque cremos em Deus. Veja que não somos responsáveis por convencer ninguém da verdade pois esta é a função do Espírito Santo de Deus conforme vemos em João 16:8 “E, quando ele vier, convencerá o mundo do pecado, e da justiça e do juízo.”.
Somos testemunhas da ação de Deus em nossas vidas através do que o Senhor fez conosco a partir do momento em que aceitamos a Cristo como nosso único e suficiente Senhor e salvador. Nossa experiência pessoal e nossa vida servirão como testemunho para aqueles que estão nos vendo. Portanto é importante que sejamos vigilantes para que nossos erros não confundam ninguém acerca da verdade.
A bíblia sagrada é a base da vontade de Deus revelada para nós. Somos apenas ferramentas nas mãos de Deus e, enquanto estivermos vivos precisamos pregar o evangelho para todas as pessoas. Podemos sempre nos utilizar dos indícios, provas, evidências, até mesmo da ciência, porém a bíblia será sempre o filtro máximo da verdade absoluta. Nós falamos e o Espírito Santo convence. Simples assim.

What is Defense of the Faith?
We read in the bible in 1st Peter 3:15
“… always be prepared to respond with meekness and fear to anyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have,…”
As the verse above says, we must always be prepared to answer about the reason for our faith, that is, why we believe in Christ, because we believe in God. See that we are not responsible for convincing anyone of the truth because this is the function of the Holy Spirit of God as we see in John 16:8 “And when he comes, he will convince the world of sin, and of righteousness and judgment.”.
We are witnesses of God’s action in our lives through what the Lord has done for us from the moment we accept Christ as our only and sufficient Lord and savior. Our personal experience and our lives will serve as a witness to those who are watching us. So it’s important that we be vigilant so that our mistakes don’t confuse anyone about the truth.
The holy bible is the basis of God’s will revealed to us. We are just tools in God’s hands, and as long as we are alive we need to preach the gospel to all people. We can always use evidence, evidence, evidence, even science, but the bible will always be the ultimate filter of absolute truth. We speak and the Holy Spirit convinces. That simple.

我們在彼得一書 3:15 中讀到聖經

正如上面的經文所說，我們必須時刻準備好回答我們信仰的原因，即我們為什麼相信基督，因為我們相信上帝。看到我們沒有責任說服任何人相信真理，因為這是上帝聖靈的功能，正如我們在約翰福音 16:8 中看到的那樣，“當他來的時候，他要使世人相信罪、公義和審判.”。
從我們接受基督為我們唯一和充分的主和救主的那一刻起，我們就通過主為我們所做的一切見證了上帝在我們生命中的作為。我們的個人經歷和我們的生活將成為那些注視著我們的人的見證。因此，重要的是我們要保持警惕，以免我們的錯誤使任何人對真相感到困惑。

Cóng wǒmen jiēshòu jīdū wèi wǒmen wéiyī hè chōngfèn de zhǔ hé jiù zhǔ dì nà yīkè qǐ, wǒmen jiù tōngguò zhǔ wèi wǒmen suǒ zuò de yīqiè jiànzhèngle shàngdì zài wǒmen shēngmìng zhòng de zuòwéi. Wǒmen de gèrén jīnglì hé wǒmen de shēnghuó jiāng chéngwéi nàxiē zhùshìzhe wǒmen de rén de jiànzhèng. Yīncǐ, zhòngyào de shì wǒmen yào bǎochí jǐngtì, yǐmiǎn wǒmen de cuòwù shǐ rènhé rén duì zhēnxiàng gǎndào kùnhuò.
Shèngjīng shì shàngdì xiàng wǒmen qǐshì de zhǐyì de jīchǔ. Wǒmen zhǐshì shàngdì shǒuzhōng de gōngjù, zhǐyào wǒmen hái huózhe, wǒmen jiù xūyào xiàng suǒyǒu rén chuán fúyīn. Wǒmen zǒng shì kěyǐ shǐyòng zhèngjù, zhèngjù, zhèngjù, shènzhì kēxué, dàn shèngjīng yǒngyuǎn shì juéduì zhēnlǐ de zhōngjí guòlǜ qì. Wǒmen shuōhuà, shènglíng shuōfú. Jiù zhème jiǎndān.
