Literatura Apocalíptica, a Palavra Apocalipse significa revelação, ou seja, trazer a tona o que está oculto.
· Circunstância em que a obra foi produzida:
Como já foi citado João estava exilado na ilha de Patmos quando teve a revelação do livro de Apocalipse dada por Deus para seus filhos, que se encontravam numa situação crítica de perseguição, dor, sacrifício e perda constante da esperança da libertação destes problemas.
· Fatos históricos que concordam com os acontecimentos narrados:
Especificamente no trecho que fala sobre a “Marca da Besta”, não podemos identificar na história da humanidade, nenhum tipo de controle mercantilista que atendia aos moldes determinados por esta marca, em que um sinal ou marca possibilitasse ou impedisse a compra / venda, limitando as pessoas a este controle. Não existe precedente nem daquela época no Império Romano nem mesmo no momento em que vivemos hoje. Por enquanto.
· O Alerta desta informação para a vida do Cristão hoje:
Não podemos simplesmente deixar de lado as fortes evidências históricas, políticas e cientifico – tecnológicas, que podem possibilitar este tipo de controle sugerido em apocalipse, a ser implementado em nossos dias. Olhando para a economia mundial hoje, vemos o cenário sendo montado para que a possibilidade de isto ocorrer conforme previsto acontece a qualquer momento.
