Teve início o Maior Julgamento de Todos os Tempos. Deus está assentado na cadeira de Juiz, satanás é o promotor e está pronto para oferecer a acusação. No banco dos réus se senta a humanidade e Cristo é o advogado de defesa.
O universo inteiro compõe a plateia deste julgamento, um número incontável de seres vivos criados por Deus assiste com bastante ansiedade porque, o que for decidido aqui criará um precedente que mudará a história do espaço e do tempo para todo o sempre.
A sentença será definitiva e não caberá apelação, o promotor satanás tem dezenas de milhares de anos de experiência e inicia sua acusação citando que “O salário do pecado é a morte.”. e que “Todos pecaram e destituídos estão da glória de Deus.“. Diz o promotor: “Toda a humanidade, sentada no banco dos réus, é culpada de pecar e transgredir a Lei de Deus portanto, não cabe outra sentença senão a morte.”.
Todos os seres criados temem diante da acusação porque sabem que a Lei de Deus será cumprida aconteça o que acontecer. O relógio da morte começa a andar cada vez mais rápido e parece que nada nem ninguém poderá ajudar.
Repentinamente uma luz intensa como nunca se viu invade todo o salão, Jesus Cristo o advogado de defesa se levanta diante do tribunal. Com amor em seus olhos se volta para o banco dos réus onde vê toda a humanidade desesperada diante da sentença de morte eterna e, se compadecendo Ele diz: “Pai, tua Lei é definitiva e não pode ser revogada. Sabemos que o pecado exige a morte. Portanto eu estou disposto a me sacrificar, morrerei no lugar deles para atender a Lei e peço que a humanidade seja poupada.”.
Satanás se levanta imediatamente, se mostrando indignado com a proposta de Cristo afirmando: “Eu protesto! Não é justo, Jesus não pode salvá-los, Cristo é inocente e eles são culpados. A humanidade vai cuspir na cara do filho de Deus, mentirão sobre ele, seus amigos mais próximos vão traí-lo, irão chicoteá-lo e entregá-lo a pior morte possível, com muita dor e sofrimento por cada segundo até o fim.”.
Finalmente Deus o Grande Juiz se levanta diante do tribunal e de todo o universo para declarar sua decisão final. O silêncio é angustiante, todos estão aguardando o pronunciamento de Deus. O martelo do supremo juiz bate causando um impacto que toma todo o salão e, Deus então se pronuncia: “A Lei será atendida, houve pecado e tem de haver morte. Eu aceito o sacrifício de meu filho Jesus Cristo. Sua morte levará com você todo o pecado da humanidade e permitirá que todo aquele que crer em ti não seja condenado, passará da morte para a vida e terá a vida eterna. Que assim seja!“.

The Greatest Trial of All Time?
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death passed to all men, because all sinned.” – Romans 5:12
The Greatest Trial of All Time has begun. God is seated as the Judge, Satan is the prosecutor and is ready to bring the accusation. On the defendant’s bench sits humanity, and Christ is the defense attorney.
The entire universe composes the audience of this trial, an uncountable number of living beings created by God watches with great anxiety because what is decided here will set a precedent that will change the history of space and time forever.
The sentence will be final and there will be no appeal. The prosecutor, Satan, has tens of thousands of years of experience and begins his accusation by citing: “The wages of sin is death.” and “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The prosecutor says: “All of humanity, sitting on the defendant’s bench, is guilty of sinning and transgressing the Law of God, therefore no other sentence is possible except death.”
All created beings fear the accusation because they know that the Law of God will be fulfilled no matter what. The clock of death begins to tick faster and faster, and it seems that nothing and no one can help.
Suddenly, an intense light like never seen before invades the whole courtroom. Jesus Christ, the defense attorney, rises before the court. With love in His eyes, He looks at the defendant’s bench where all humanity sits in despair before the eternal death sentence, and moved with compassion He says: “Father, Your Law is definitive and cannot be revoked. We know that sin requires death. Therefore, I am willing to sacrifice Myself, I will die in their place to fulfill the Law, and I ask that humanity be spared.”
Satan immediately rises, showing indignation at Christ’s proposal, declaring: “I object! This is not fair, Jesus cannot save them. Christ is innocent and they are guilty. Humanity will spit in the face of the Son of God, they will lie about Him, His closest friends will betray Him, they will whip Him and hand Him over to the worst possible death, with pain and suffering every second until the end.”
Finally, God, the Great Judge, rises before the court and the entire universe to declare His final decision. The silence is unbearable, all await God’s pronouncement. The gavel of the Supreme Judge strikes, causing an impact that shakes the whole hall, and God then declares: “The Law will be fulfilled. There was sin, and there must be death. I accept the sacrifice of my Son Jesus Christ. His death will take away all the sins of humanity and will allow everyone who believes in Him not to be condemned, but to pass from death to life and have eternal life. So be it!”
