Festas marcadas por excessos, sensualidade e falta de domínio próprio podem destruir o chamado cristão à santidade e ao bom testemunho. 1ª Coríntios 6:19 ” Acaso não sabem que o corpo de vocês é templo do Espírito Santo que habita em vocês, que lhes foi dado por Deus, e que vocês não são de si mesmos?”.
A Bíblia alerta que ninguém é imune à influência do ambiente. Estar em lugares onde o pecado é normalizado te fará pecar também. Por isso, o cristão é chamado à vigilância e ao cuidado com suas escolhas. Mateus 26:41 “Vigiai e orai, para que não entreis em tentação; o espírito, na verdade, está pronto, mas a carne é fraca“.
Por fim, o cristão deve se manter longe de eventos que favorecem o pecado, buscando preservar seu testemunho e fortalecer sua fé. Ambientes e eventos como o Carnaval são armadilhas para destruir pessoas e famílias. Efésios 5:11 e12 “E não comuniqueis com as obras infrutuosas das trevas, mas antes condenai-as. Porque o que eles fazem em oculto até dizê-lo é vergonhoso.”.
