Lemos na bíblia em João 5:24
“… que quem ouve a minha palavra, e crê naquele que me enviou, tem a vida eterna, e não entrará em condenação, mas passou da morte para a vida.”
A resposta é não! O simples fato de uma pessoa frequentar a igreja não determina que a mesma seja salva. Aprendemos com a bíblia que a salvação é de graça, não depende de nossas obras ou atitudes para que ninguém possa se gloriar nelas. Não importa quantas vezes você vai a missa ou ao culto, nem quanto dá em oferta ou dízimo. Também não depende de quantas vezes ajuda dentro ou fora da igreja, nenhum esforço seu pode garantir sua salvação.
O versículo do início deste artigo deixa claro que, quem ouve as palavras de Cristo e crê em Deus já está salvo, já tem a vida eterna, não entrará em condenação e já passou da morte para a vida. Aquele que crê em Cristo consegue amar a Deus sobre todas as coisas e ao próximo como a si mesmo. Quem crê verdadeiramente consegue desviar dos maus caminhos e busca se manter no caminho de Cristo.
É claro que isso não é fácil e, com certeza vamos pecar no meio do caminho, mas se confessarmos nosso pecado Ele é fiel e justo para nos perdoar. Além de confessar precisamos deixar de praticar o erro que praticávamos anteriormente.

Am I Saved by Belonging to a Church?
We read in the bible in John 5:24
“… Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and will not be condemned, but has passed from death to life.”
The answer is no! The mere fact that a person attends the church does not determine that the person is saved. We learn from the Bible that salvation is free, it does not depend on our works or attitudes so that no one can boast in them. It does not matter how many times you go to Mass or to worship, or how much you give as a gift or tithe. Nor does it depend on how many times you help inside or outside the church, no effort on your part can guarantee your salvation.
The verse at the beginning of this article makes it clear that whoever hears the words of Christ and believes in God is already saved, already has eternal life, will not be condemned and has already passed from death to life. He who believes in Christ is able to love God above all things and his neighbor as himself. Those who truly believe are able to turn away from evil ways and seek to stay on the path of Christ.
Of course, this is not easy and we will certainly sin along the way, but if we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us. In addition to confessing, we need to stop practicing the error we had previously practiced.

Dá’àn shì bù! Yīgèrén shēn jiā jiàotáng zhè yī shìshí bìng bùnéng quèdìng gāi rén yǐ déjiù. Wǒmen cóng shèngjīng zhōng dé zhī jiù ēn shì zìyóu de, tā bù qǔjué yú wǒmen de gōngzuò huò tàidù, yīncǐ méiyǒu rén kěyǐ kuāyào tāmen. Wúlùn nín qù mísā huò chóngbài duōshǎo cì, huò nín fèngxiàn duōshǎo huò shí yī fèngxiàn duōshǎo, dōu wúguān jǐnyào. Yě bù qǔjué yú nín zài jiàotáng nèi huò jiàotáng wài tígōng bāngzhù de cìshù, nín de rènhé nǔlì dōu bùnéng bǎozhèng nín de déjiù.
Běnwén kāitóu de jīng wén qīngchǔ dì biǎomíng, rènhé tīngdào jīdū dehuà bìng xiāngxìn shàngdì de rén dōu yǐjīng déjiùle, yǒngyǒu yǒngshēng, bù huì shòudào qiǎnzé, bìngqiě yǐjīng cóng sǐwáng zhuǎn wéi shēngmìng. Xiāngxìn jīdū de rén nénggòu ài shàngdì zhìgāowúshàng, ài tā de línjū yě yīyàng. Nàxiē zhēnzhèng xiāngxìn de rén nénggòu bǎituō xié’è de fāngshì, xúnqiú zǒu zài jīdū de dàolù shàng.
Dāngrán, zhè bìng bù róngyì, érqiě wǒmen kěndìng huì yīlù fànzuì, dàn rúguǒ wǒmen chéngrèn zìjǐ de zuìguo, tā jiùshì zhōngshí de, zhǐshì wèile yuánliàng wǒmen. Chúle gòngrèn zhī wài, wǒmen hái xūyào tíngzhǐ liànxí yǐqián céngjīng fànguò de cuòwù.
