Lemos na bíblia em Tiago 1:27
“A religião pura e imaculada para com Deus e Pai, é esta: Visitar os órfãos e as viúvas nas suas tribulações, e guardar-se da corrupção do mundo.”
Religião significa religar; religar o ser humano a Deus. Porque um dia estivemos ligados diretamente com Deus e o pecado trouxe separação entre Deus e o homem. E, para estarmos ligados novamente com Deus o pecado precisa estar de lado.
É verdade que seremos pecadores enquanto estivermos vivos, mas a partir do momento em que aceitamos a Cristo em nossos corações como único e suficiente Senhor e Salvador, passamos a lutar contra o pecado com a ajuda do Espírito Santo de Deus que passa a habitar em nós.
Se estiver com receio de estar perdendo sua religião, ou ligação com Deus então veja se está cumprindo a orientação que o versículo do início deste artigo alerta. Ajude seu próximo; órfãos, viúvas e todo aquele que necessitar da sua ajuda. Outra coisa fundamental é guardar-se da corrupção do mundo, ou seja, se afastar do pecado e de tudo aquilo que te leva a pecar.

Am I Losing My Religion?
We read in the bible in James 1:27
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: To visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”
