Lemos na bíblia em Tiago 4:17
“Aquele, pois, que sabe fazer o bem e não o faz, comete pecado.”
Em nossa vida temos diversas oportunidades de ajudar a quem sabemos que necessita, seja um pedinte no sinal de trânsito, uma pessoa faminta na rua que pede um pouco de comida, nosso vizinho com a conta de luz atrasada ou simplesmente oferecer um ombro amigo para alguém que precisa chorar. A triste constatação é que, em grande parte dessas oportunidades, nós fazemos de conta que não ouvimos ou simplesmente viramos o rosto para não ver o que sabemos que está acontecendo em nossa frente.
O amor ao próximo é um mandamento de Cristo para a humanidade. Antes mesmo de pedir algo a Deus, devemos fazer ao nosso próximo aquilo que gostaríamos que fosse feito a nós mesmos. Precisamos entender que as bênçãos de Deus para nós, não devem ter fim em nós mesmos. Devemos ajudar a quem precisa mesmo com o pouco que nós temos.
Aprendo com a bíblia que a igreja da Macedônia, mesmo passando por severas privações, de sua pobreza ainda lhes sobrou algo para ajudar os mais miseráveis que passavam fome nas cidades circunvizinhas. Isso me faz pensar: Será que sou tão miserável que não posso ajudar ninguém que precise mais do que eu?

What if I don't do good?
We read in the bible in James 4:17
“He therefore, who knows how to do good and does not do it, commits sin.”
In our lives, we have many opportunities to help those we know they need, whether it’s a beggar at a traffic light, a hungry person on the street asking for some food, our neighbor with a late electricity bill, or simply offering someone a friendly shoulder. who needs to cry. The sad thing is that, in most of these opportunities, we pretend not to hear or simply turn our faces away from seeing what we know is happening in front of us.
Love of neighbor is Christ’s command to mankind. Before even asking God for something, we must do to our neighbor what we would like to have done to ourselves. We need to understand that God’s blessings to us must have no end in ourselves. We must help those in need even with the little we have.
I learn from the bible that the church in Macedonia, even undergoing severe deprivation, from their poverty still had something left to help the most destitute who were starving in the surrounding cities. It makes me wonder: Am I so miserable that I can’t help anyone who needs it more than I do?

Wǒmen zài shèngjīng zhōng dú dào yǎ gè shū 4:17
“Suǒyǐ, zhīdào héng shàn què bù qù xíng de, jiùshì fànzuìle.”
Zài wǒmen de shēnghuó zhōng, wǒmen yǒu hěnduō jīhuì qù bāngzhù nàxiē wǒmen zhīdào tāmen xūyào bāngzhù de rén, wúlùn shì hónglǜdēng qián de qǐgài, jiē shàng de jī’è zhě suǒyào shíwù, diànfèi zhàngdān chídào de línjū, huòzhě zhǐshì tígōng yīgè yǒuhǎo de jiānbǎng xūyào kūqì de rén. Kěbēi de shì, zài dà duōshù zhèyàng de jīhuì zhōng, wǒmen jiǎzhuāng méi tīngjiàn, huòzhě gāncuì zhuǎnguò liǎn bù kàn wǒmen suǒ zhīdào de fāshēng zài wǒmen miànqián de shìqíng.
Ài línshè shì jīdū duì rénlèi de mìnglìng. Zài xiàng shàngdì qíqiú mǒu shì zhīqián, wǒmen bìxū duì línjū zuò wǒmen xīwàng duì zìjǐ zuò de shìqíng. Wǒmen xūyào míngbái, shàngdì duì wǒmen de zhùfú yīdìng shì zài wǒmen zìjǐ shēnshang méiyǒu jìntóu. Wǒmen bìxū bāngzhù nàxiē yǒu xūyào de rén, jíshǐ wǒmen zhǐyǒu yīdiǎn diǎn.
Wǒ cóng shèngjīng zhōng liǎojiě dào, mǎqídùn de jiàohuì, jíshǐ chǔyú jídù pínkùn zhī zhōng, réngrán kěyǐ bāngzhù zhōubiān chéngshì zhōng zuì pínkùn de rén. Zhè ràng wǒ xiǎng zhīdào: Wǒ shìfǒu rúcǐ tòngkǔ, yǐ zhìyú wǒ wúfǎ bāngzhù bǐ wǒ gèng xūyào tā de rén?

Wǒmen kěyǐ suíshí jìnrù shàngdì de miànqián, wèntí shì: Nǐ zhǔnbèi hǎole ma? Nǐ shìfǒu xiāngxìn jīdū shì nǐ wéiyī hè zúgòu de jiù zhǔ? Zhè yīnggāi shì nín zuì guānxīn de wèntí.
