“E todo aquele que tiver deixado casas, ou irmãos, ou irmãs, ou pai, ou mãe, ou mulher, ou filhos, ou terras, por amor de meu nome, receberá cem vezes tanto, e herdará a vida eterna.”. – Mateus 19:29
Os discípulos de Cristo largaram tudo para segui-lo e a bíblia diz em Mateus 19:29 que todo aquele que deixar casa, família e bens por amor de Cristo receberá cem vezes mais. O versículo anterior a este mostra que o contexto aqui fala da recompensa na vida eterna e não aqui na terra.
Não podemos esquecer que todo aquele que crê em Cristo recebe a salvação e o perdão dos pecados. Isto serve para todos, sem exceções. Is It Possible to Follow Christ and Not Receive a Reward?
“And everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” – Matthew 19:29
The disciples of Christ left everything to follow Him, and the Bible says in Matthew 19:29 that everyone who leaves house, family, and possessions for the love of Christ will receive a hundred times more. The previous verse shows that the context here speaks of the reward in eternal life, not here on earth.
We must not forget that everyone who believes in Christ receives salvation and the forgiveness of sins. This applies to all, without exception.
