Lemos na Bíblia em Mateus 6:17 e 18
“Tu, porém, quando jejuares, unge a tua cabeça, e lava o teu rosto, Para não pareceres aos homens que jejuas, mas a teu Pai, que está em secreto; e teu Pai, que vê em secreto, te recompensará publicamente.”
Normalmente quando entramos em jejum, as pessoas ficam curiosas acerca dos motivos que nos levaram a jejuar. Algumas pessoas querem saber se é uma nova dieta que promete secar a barriga e perder gordura; Outras pessoas desconfiam que é por um motivo religioso e estão prontas para te confrontar; Outras pessoas estão apenas curiosas mesmo.
O fato é que não queremos constranger ninguém e nem dar motivo para que as pessoas falem e julguem nossas razões, é por isso que a Bíblia nos orienta em Mateus capítulo 6 a partir do versículo 16, que os fariseus, quando jejuam, fazem questão de mostrar a todos para que vejam o quanto são determinados e religiosos, eles se mostram abatidos para que todos vejam e, certamente não alcançarão a recompensa que esperam.
Nós, cristãos verdadeiros, quando jejuarmos devemos seguir o que diz no versículo citado no início deste artigo. Devemos estar com aparência normal para que não aparente que estamos jejuando e, nosso Pai (Deus), que vê em secreto, nos recompensará.

Should I Speak the Reason for My Fast?
We read in the Bible in Matthew 6:17 and 18
“But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you will not appear to men who fast, but to your Father, who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you publicly. ”
Usually when we go on a fast, people are curious about the reasons that led us to fast. Some people want to know if it is a new diet that promises to dry the belly and lose fat; Other people suspect that it is for a religious reason and are ready to confront you; Other people are just curious.
The fact is that we don’t want to embarrass anyone or give people a reason to speak and judge our reasons, which is why the Bible guides us in Matthew chapter 6 from verse 16, that the Pharisees, when fasting, make a point of to show everyone to see how determined and religious they are, they are downcast for everyone to see and certainly will not achieve the reward they expect.
We, true Christians, when we fast we must follow what it says in the verse quoted at the beginning of this article. We must look normal so that it does not appear that we are fasting, and our Father (God), who sees in secret, will reward us.

Shìshí shì wǒmen bùxiǎng ràng rènhé rén gǎndào gāngà huò bùxiǎng ràng rénmen yǒu lǐyóu fāyán hé pànduàn wǒmen de lǐyóu, zhè jiùshì shèngjīng zài mǎ tài fúyīn dì liù zhāng dì 16 jié zhōng yǐndǎo wǒmen de yuányīn, fǎ lì sài rén jìn shí shí yào zhǐchū wèile ràng suǒyǒu rén kàn dào zìjǐ de juéxīn hé zōngjiào xìnyǎng, tāmen duì suǒyǒu rén dōu chuítóusàngqì, kěndìng bù huì huòdé tāmen suǒ qīwàng de huíbào.
Wǒmen, zhēnzhèng de jīdū tú, dāng wǒmen jìn shí shí, bìxū zūnxún běnwén kāitóu yǐnyòng de jīng wénzhōng suǒ shuō de nèiróng. Wǒmen bìxū kàn shàngqù zhèngcháng, yǐmiǎn chū xiàn wǒmen jìn shí de qíngkuàng, ér wǒmen de fùqīn (shén) zài ànzhōng jiàn dào, huì jiǎngshǎng wǒmen.

Wǒmen kěyǐ suíshí jìnrù shén de tóng zài, ér wèntí shì: Nín zhǔnbèi hǎole ma? Nín shìfǒu céngjīng xiāngxìn jīdū shì nín wéiyī hè chōngfèn de jiùshìzhǔ? Yīnwèi zhè yīdìng shì nín zuìdà de dānyōu.
