“… nos últimos dias sobrevirão tempos trabalhosos. Porque haverá homens amantes de si mesmos, avarentos, presunçosos, soberbos, blasfemos, desobedientes a pais e mães, ingratos, profanos.” – 2ª Timóteo 3:1-2

Should We Expect a Golden Age for the World?
“… in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.” – 2 Timothy 3:1-2
There is no denying that we are living in the end times. In this period the world will be plunged into darkness and sin as the Bible teaches. We should not expect a golden age for the world, but rather prepare it for the return of Christ.
Pay attention to the following verses:
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” – Luke 21:25-26
“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
