Segundo a notícia do jornal The New York Times, em um centro cristão da Índia, uma pequena multidão de homens hindus invadem templo cristão, espancam pastores e jogam mulheres no chão durante o culto religioso. Segundo o relato, este ato foi cometido por supremacistas Hindus.
Infelizmente a imprensa mundial normalmente evita este tipo de assunto para que a sociedade acredite que tal perseguição ao cristianismo não existe. Segundo o site Vatican News nos últimos anos foram 360 milhões de cristãos que sofreram perseguição no mundo, sendo o país número um nesse tipo de ataque o Afeganistão.
De fato alguns países como Índia e Afeganistão, entre outros, estão aprovando leis que proíbem a pregação do evangelho e, as penas variam de espancamento até a morte. Sabíamos que, por amor do nome de Cristo seríamos perseguidos porém, devemos pregar o evangelho até que Cristo volte para nos buscar. Está mais perto do que nunca!

“A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they keep my word, they will keep yours also.”
