Lemos na bíblia em 1ª Pedro 2:9
“Mas vós sois a geração eleita, o sacerdócio real, a nação santa, o povo adquirido, para que anuncieis as virtudes daquele que vos chamou das trevas para a sua maravilhosa luz;”
O ser humano possui a eternidade em seu coração. É impossível conseguir explicar o fim simplesmente de tudo o que existe. Fomos feitos para sermos eternos e a morte não é o fim de tudo, mas o início da condição eterna que toda a criatura vai viver um dia. Uns ao lado de Deus e outros, afastados dele.
Numa entrevista, o escritor Ariano Suassuna, quando questionado se acreditava em Deus afirmou que sim, e que, sem a perspectiva de Deus e da eternidade, a condição de morte e fim traria desespero, haja vista o sofrimento que a humanidade enfrenta no decorrer de sua existência aqui.
Ele citou o seguinte poema:
Se eu conversasse com Deus iria lhe perguntar.
Porque é que sofremos tanto quando viemos para cá.
Que dívida é essa que o homem tem que morrer para pagar.
Perguntaria também como é que ele é feito.
Que não dorme e não come, e assim vive satisfeito.
Porque foi que não fez a gente do mesmo jeito.
Porque existem uns felizes e outros que sofrem tanto.
Nascidos do mesmo jeito, criados no mesmo canto.
Quem foi temperar o choro e acabou salgando o pranto.
Deus, em sua justiça e amor, envia seu único Filho Cristo, para morrer em sacrifício e nos resgatar, e marca um encontro com a humanidade. O bilhete de passagem está descrito em João 5:24 “Na verdade, na verdade vos digo que quem ouve a minha palavra, e crê naquele que me enviou, tem a vida eterna, e não entrará em condenação, mas passou da morte para a vida.”.

How to have Hope in Eternity?
We read in the bible in 1st Peter 2:9
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of him that hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;”
The human being has eternity in his heart. It is impossible to simply explain the end of everything that exists. We were made to be eternal and death is not the end of everything, but the beginning of the eternal condition that every creature will live one day. Some beside God and others far from him.
In an interview, the writer Ariano Suassuna, when asked if he believed in God, said he did, and that, without the perspective of God and eternity, the condition of death and end would bring despair, given the suffering that humanity faces in the course of its existence here.
He quoted the following poem:
If I talked to God I would ask him.
Why did we suffer so much when we came here.
What is this debt that man has to die to pay.
I would also ask how it is done.
Who doesn’t sleep and doesn’t eat, and so lives satisfied.
Because it didn’t do us the same way.
Because there are some happy and others who suffer so much.
Born the same, raised in the same corner.
Who went to temper the crying and ended up salting the tears.
God, in his justice and love, sends his only Son, Christ, to die in sacrifice and rescue us, and he makes an appointment with humanity. The ticket of passage is described in John 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say to you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but has passed from death to life.”.
