- Romanos 10:17 “De sorte que a fé é pelo ouvir, e o ouvir pela palavra de Deus.”;
- Hebreus 11:6 “… é necessário que aquele que se aproxima de Deus creia que ele existe, e que é galardoador dos que o buscam.”.
Portanto, leia a bíblia diariamente mesmo se não tiver vontade. Pense sobre aquilo que acabou de ler e exercite a oração diária pedindo que Deus faça a vontade dele em sua vida. Filipenses 4:8 e 9 “… tudo o que é verdadeiro, honesto, justo, puro, amável, de boa fama, se há alguma virtude, e se há algum louvor, nisso pensai. O que também aprendestes, e recebestes, e ouvistes, e vistes em mim, isso fazei; e o Deus de paz será convosco.”.
Lembre-se da história do filho pródigo e, que Deus está sempre de braços abertos para nos receber quando voltamos para Ele.

How Can I Draw Closer to God?
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
The Bible teaches that we can only draw near to God through faith, believing that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. Thank God, the Bible also teaches us how to have faith. See:
Romans 10:17 — “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Hebrews 11:6 — “…for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Therefore, read the Bible daily even if you do not feel like it. Reflect on what you have just read and practice daily prayer, asking God to carry out His will in your life.
Philippians 4:8–9 — “…whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report—if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do; and the God of peace will be with you.”
Remember the story of the prodigal son, and that God is always with open arms to receive us when we return to Him.
