“Mas cada um é tentado, quando atraído e envolvido por seu próprio desejo.”
Primeiro precisamos entender o que Cristo nos diz em Lucas 5:32 ““Eu não vim chamar os justos, mas, sim, os pecadores, ao arrependimento.”. Mesmo sendo cristãos, vamos pecar até o dia de nossa morte, a diferença é que agora que cremos em Cristo, lutamos contra o pecado.
Todos nós temos forte atração por aquilo que desejamos e somos fracos neste sentido. Mas a bíblia também ensina como ser forte e conseguir lutar e vencer o pecado. Veja o que diz em Filipenses 4:8 e 9 “Quanto ao mais, irmãos, tudo o que é verdadeiro, honesto, justo, puro, amável, de boa fama, se há alguma virtude, e se há algum louvor, nisso pensai. O que também aprendestes, e recebestes, e ouvistes, e vistes em mim, isso fazei; e o Deus de paz será convosco.”.
Só há um meio de conseguir vencer seu “pecado de estimação“, alimente mais o espírito e fuja de tudo aquilo que alimenta a sua carne. Bloqueie os sites que te levam a pecar, saia de grupos que compartilham coisas erradas, evite as “amizades” que te levam para caminhos errados. No lugar destas coisas alimente o espírito com leitura da bíblia e oração. Quanto mais perto da luz, mais longe das trevas.

How do I Abandon a Pet Sin?
We read in the bible in James 1:14
“But each one is tempted, when drawn and involved by his own desire.”
First we need to understand what Christ tells us in Luke 5:32 “” I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”. Even though we are Christians, we will sin until the day we die, the difference is that now that we believe in Christ, we fight against sin.
We all have a strong attraction for what we want and we are weak in this sense. But the bible also teaches how to be strong and manage to fight and overcome sin. See what it says in Philippians 4:8 and 9 “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good reputation, if there is any virtue, and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you also learned, and received, and heard, and saw in me, that do; and the God of peace will be with you.”
There is only one way to overcome your “pet sin”, feed your spirit more and run away from everything that feeds your flesh. Block sites that lead you to sin, leave groups that share wrong things, avoid “friendships” that lead you down the wrong path. Instead of these things, feed your spirit with Bible reading and prayer. The closer to the light, the farther from the darkness.

Wǒmen dōu duì wǒmen xiǎng yào de dōngxī yǒu qiángliè de xīyǐn lì, ér zài zhège yìyì shàng wǒmen shì ruǎnruò de. Dàn shèngjīng yě jiàodǎo rúhé jiānqiáng bìng shèfǎ yǔ zuì’è zuò dòuzhēng. Kàn kàn féi lì bǐ shū 4:8 Hé 9 shì zěnme shuō de:“Zuìhòu, dìxiōngmen, fánshì zhēnshí, chéngshí, gōngyì, chúnjié, kě’ài, měiyù de, ruò yǒu shé me měidé, ruò yǒu shé me zhídé chēngzàn de, nǐmen yào sīxiǎng zhèxiē shìwù. Zhǐyǒu yīzhǒng fāngfǎ kěyǐ kèfú nǐ de “chǒngwù zuì”, gèng duō de zīyǎng nǐ de jīngshén, yuǎnlí yīqiè zīyǎng nǐ ròutǐ de dōngxī. Zǔzhǐ dǎozhì nín fànzuì de wǎngzhàn, líkāi fēnxiǎng cuòwù shìwù de qún zǔ, bìmiǎn dǎozhì nín zǒu shàng cuòwù dàolù de “yǒuyì”. Dàitì zhèxiē dōngxī, yòng shèngjīng yuèdú hé qídǎo lái wèiyǎng nǐ de jīngshén. Lí guāngmíng yuè jìn, lí hēi’àn yuè yuǎn.
