“E, havendo aberto o sexto selo, olhei, e eis que houve um grande tremor de terra; e o sol tornou-se negro como saco de cilício, e a lua tornou-se como sangue;” – Apocalipse 6:12
Com a abertura do Sexto Selo, conforme relatado em Apocalipse 6: 12 em diante, podemos afirmar ser este o princípio do fim.
Começa com um grande tremor de terra, porém não se trata de um terremoto como estamos acostumados a ouvir falar, este certamente ultrapassará todas as métricas históricas e abre a sequencia de destruição da terra.
Em seguida a Bíblia relata que o sol se tornou negro como um saco de silício e a lua vermelha como o sangue. Sabemos que o fenômeno conhecido como eclipse é capaz de produzir este efeito tanto no sol quanto na lua (recentemente tivemos o fenômeno das luas de sangue).
Na sequência vemos o relato de que as estrelas do céu caem sobre a terra, fenômeno que pode ser entendido como uma chuva de meteoros resultante da passagem de grandes corpos celestes próximos da terra e, os meteoritos de sua calda podem ser atraídos pela gravidade da terra, causando o fenômeno chamado chuva de estrelas.
Vemos também o relato de que os reis e poderosos da terra temem horrorizados os acontecimentos da abertura deste sexto selo e preferem a morte do que enfrentar a ira de Deus.
Outra coisa interessante a se destacar aqui é que a bíblia diz que estes “poderosos” pedem as montanhas para que caiam sobre eles e os escondam da ira de Deus. Existe um fenômeno que cresce exponencialmente em todo o mundo que é a construção de bunkers para a proteção contra um possível “Apocalipse” global. E, neste sentido, os homens mais ricos do mundo como Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates e outros, estão construindo bunkers em montanhas. Será coincidência?
Por fim, é necessário esclarecer que esse juízo não virá sobre aqueles que aceitaram a Cristo como seu Senhor e buscam viver uma vida correta de acordo com os ensinamentos de Cristo (ainda que errem). Estes já não estarão mais aqui. Seremos arrebatados, levados a encontrar Cristo nos ares como diz a bíblia e, seremos poupados do juízo de Deus que em breve virá sobre a terra.

Revelation: The SIXTH Seal – The Beginning of the End
“When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold — there was a great earthquake; the sun became black as sackcloth, and the moon became like blood.” – Revelation 6:12
With the opening of the Sixth Seal, as described in Revelation 6:12 onwards, we can affirm that this marks the beginning of the end.
It begins with a great earthquake—not a typical quake we hear about, but one that undoubtedly surpasses all historical records—and sets off a sequence of global destruction.
Next, the Bible describes the sun turning black like sackcloth, and the moon like blood. We know that eclipses can produce such effects in both the sun and the moon. Recently, the phenomenon of “blood moons” has drawn much attention.
Following that, the text describes the stars of heaven falling to the earth—a phenomenon that could be understood as meteor showers caused by large celestial bodies passing close to Earth, whose tails are pulled by Earth’s gravity, resulting in a “rain of stars.”
We also read that the kings and mighty of the earth are horrifyingly terrified by the events of the Sixth Seal. They prefer death to standing before the wrath of God. Interestingly, the Bible notes that these “powerful ones” ask for the mountains to fall on them and hide them from God’s anger.
Globally, a rising trend reflects this fear: the rich and influential are building bunkers in mountains—billionaires like Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and others included. Coincidence?
Finally, we must clarify: this judgment will not touch those who have accepted Christ as Lord and strive to live rightly by His teachings (even if imperfectly). They will no longer be here. We will be raptured, taken up to meet Christ in the air, as the Bible promises—and we will be spared from God’s coming judgment upon the earth.
