“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.” – Revelation 7:9

Between the opening of the sixth and seventh seals, we find the most anticipated event in human history: the rapture. The Bible describes an uncountable multitude before God, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, and says they are the ones who came out of the great tribulation and washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb, who is Christ.

This statement indicates that those who are saved will go through the great tribulation but will be rescued before it ends. Revelation chapter 7 explains how this event unfolds.

With the opening of the seventh seal, silence falls in heaven for about half an hour, as described at the beginning of Revelation chapter 8. Then, seven angels are given seven trumpets.

A censer filled with fire from the altar is prepared and cast to the earth (symbolizing justice), and when it hits the earth, it causes hail and fire, along with thunder, lightning, and earthquakes.
