Lemos na Bíblia em Apocalipse 6:9
“E, havendo aberto o quinto selo, vi debaixo do altar as almas dos que foram mortos por amor da palavra de Deus e por amor do testemunho que deram.”
Na continuação, a partir do versículo 10 vemos o seguinte:
“E clamavam com grande voz dizendo: Até quando, ó verdadeiro e Santo Dominador, não julgas e vingas o nosso sangue dos que habitam sobre a terra? E foram dadas a cada um compridas vestes brancas e foi-lhes dito que repousassem ainda por um pouco de tempo, até que também se completasse o número de seus conservos e seus irmãos que haviam de ser mortos como eles foram.”
Existe uma concordância entre muitos estudiosos que este selo também já foi aberto. Isto significa que este clamor dos que foram mortos por amor da Palavra de Deus (os mártires) está sendo feito neste momento da história, ou seja, eles clamam diante de Deus por justiça e aguardam que os que ainda devem morrer pela perseguição aos verdadeiros Cristãos, se complete.

Wǒmen zài “qǐshì lù” 6 zhāng 9 jié zhōng dú dào
