Conforme vamos nos aproximando do fim dos tempos os relatos bíblicos vão se cumprindo cada vez mais. O governo da Nicarágua determinou o fechamento de algumas igrejas e o encerramento das atividades de rádios católicas. Isso ocorreu após alguns líderes religiosos terem sido agredidos pela polícia e freiras católicas terem sido expulsas do país.
A bíblia deixa claro que, ao nos aproximarmos do fim, este tipo de perseguição iria ocorrer. A questão não é se vai chegar aqui, mas quando vai chegar até nós. Estaremos prontos? Vamos permanecer firmes na fé? Continuaremos pregando a Palavra de Deus? O que devemos fazer? Como responder a isso?
Temos um relato na bíblia que conta que os Apóstolos de Cristo foram proibidos por poder de autoridade, de pregar o evangelho. Se continuassem eles seriam presos, chicoteados e até sentenciados a morte. Veja a resposta em Atos 5:29 “Porém, respondendo Pedro e os apóstolos, disseram: Mais importa obedecer a Deus do que aos homens.”. E quando chegar a sua vez? Qual será sua resposta?

Can Religious Persecution in Nicaragua Get Here?
We read in the bible in 2nd Corinthians 4:8 and 9
“We are afflicted in every way, but not distressed; perplexed, but not discouraged. Persecuted, but not helpless; slaughtered but not destroyed; …”
As we approach the end of time, the biblical accounts are more and more fulfilled. The Nicaraguan government ordered the closure of some churches and the closure of Catholic radio activities. This came after some religious leaders were beaten by the police and Catholic nuns were expelled from the country.
The bible makes it clear that, as we approach the end, this kind of persecution would occur. The question is not whether it will get here, but when it will get to us. Will we be ready? Shall we stand firm in the faith? Will we continue to preach the Word of God? What should we do? How to respond to this?
We have an account in the Bible that tells that the Apostles of Christ were forbidden by power of authority to preach the gospel. If they continued they would be arrested, whipped and even sentenced to death. See the answer in Acts 5:29 “But Peter and the apostles answered and said, ‘We must obey God rather than men’. And when is your turn? What will your answer be?
