Não, o versículo mostra que, aqueles que continuam em pecado deliberadamente, ou seja, pecando de propósito e com intenção de pecar, mesmo depois de ter recebido a Palavra da Verdade, estes (que nunca se converteram de verdade), invalidam o sacrifício de Cristo por eles. Para estes não haverá salvação e sim condenação.
Precisamos entender que, para o cristão verdadeiro, é impossível pecar de propósito, ou seja, como sendo este o objetivo de sua vida. Sendo que o Espírito Santo vivendo dentro do cristão o convence do pecado. Isso não quer dizer que não vamos pecar, mas quer dizer que este não é o objetivo de nossas vidas, pelo contrário, estamos sempre resistindo e lutando contra o pecado. Por outro lado, aquele que peca constantemente, como objetivo de vida; este nunca se converteu e, portanto, não tem a salvação, fez inútil o sacrifício de Cristo e já está condenado.
