Lemos na bíblia em Mateus 10:34
“Não cuideis que vim trazer a paz à terra; não vim trazer paz, mas espada;”
Ambos. A bíblia traz consolo ao que sofre e confronto ao pecador. A palavra de Deus tem como tema central Cristo. A morte em sacrifício de Jesus por toda a humanidade para que a salvação seja disponível a todo o que nele crer.
Apesar da bíblia conter consolo para o cristão que sofre perseguições por amor ao nome de Cristo, grande parte dela confronta o pecador alertando para o perigo da condenação eterna para quem não crer. O pecado é a única coisa que faz separação entre a criatura e o Criador e, aceitar a Cristo como seu único e suficiente Senhor e Salvador é o único caminho para a redenção.
Existe uma guerra acontecendo no mundo espiritual e, não fazer nada não é opção. Aquele que se mantém afastado ou, sem optar um lado, já está do lado do maligno, ou seja, do lado que perde no final. Busque ao Senhor enquanto ainda se pode encontrá-lo.

Does the Bible Bring Comfort or Confrontation?
We read in the bible in Matthew 10:34
“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword;”
Both. The bible brings comfort to the suffering and confrontation to the sinner. The word of God has Christ as its central theme. The sacrificial death of Jesus for all mankind so that salvation may be available to all who believe in Him.
Although the bible contains comfort for the Christian who suffers persecution for the name of Christ, much of it confronts the sinner warning of the danger of eternal damnation for those who do not believe. Sin is the only thing that separates the creature from the Creator, and accepting Christ as your only and sufficient Lord and Savior is the only way to redemption.
There is a war going on in the spirit world, and doing nothing is not an option. He who stays away or, without choosing a side, is already on the side of the evil one, that is, on the side that loses in the end. Seek the Lord while he may yet be found.

聖經帶來安慰還是對抗？
Shèngjīng dài lái ānwèi háishì duìkàng?
我們在馬太福音 10:34 中讀到聖經
“不要以為我來是叫地上太平；我來不是要帶來和平，而是要帶來寶劍；”
兩個都。聖經給受苦的人帶來安慰，給罪人帶來對抗。神的話以基督為中心主題。耶穌為全人類而死，使所有相信他的人都能得救。
儘管聖經包含對為基督的名而受迫害的基督徒的安慰，但其中大部分內容都是針對罪人的警告，警告那些不相信的人有永恆詛咒的危險。罪是唯一將受造物與造物主分開的東西，接受基督作為你唯一且充足的主和救主是唯一的救贖之路。
靈界正在打仗，什麼都不做是不行的。遠離或不站隊的人，就已經站在了惡者的一邊，也就是站在了最後失敗的一邊。趁耶和華可尋見的時候尋找他。

Zuì shì wéiyī jiāng shòu zàowù yǔ zàowùzhǔ fēnkāi de dōngxī, jiēshòu jīdū zuòwéi nǐ wéiyī qiě chōngzú de zhǔ hé jiù zhǔ shì wéiyī de jiùshú zhī lù.
Língjiè zhèngzài dǎzhàng, shénme dōu bù zuò shì bùxíng de. Yuǎnlí huò bù zhàn duì de rén, jiù yǐjīng zhàn zàile è zhě de yībiān, yě jiùshì zhàn zàile zuìhòu shībài de yībiān. Chèn yēhéhuá kě xún jiàn de shíhòu xúnzhǎo tā.
