Quando o povo falava apenas uma língua, seus objetivos eram alcançados. Num dado momento concordaram em construir uma torre para chegar até os céus em desafio a soberania de Deus. Deus teve de intervir confundindo as línguas deles para que não mais se compreendessem e a construção foi frustrada.
Muitas vezes nos desentendemos com pessoas que falam a mesma língua que nós. Quando pensamos somente em nossas vontades e desejos não existe lugar para o próximo. Logo, isso gera conflitos tão grandes que parece que estamos falando outra língua. Afinal de contas cada um vai tentar compreender aquilo que quer, e nunca o que o outro está tentando comunicar verdadeiramente.
As Vezes pregamos o evangelho para pessoas que riem, outras simplesmente ignoram e dão as costas. Mas isso não pode nos fazer desistir. A Palavra de Deus, quando lançada certamente vai encontrar pouso e vai ser regada pelo Espírito Santo. Nossa função é apenas pregar, mesmo que pareça que estamos falando em outra língua.

Where Does the Confusion of Languages in Society Come From?
“The Lord said, ‘Indeed the people are one and they all have the same language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.’” – Genesis 11:6
When the people spoke only one language, their goals were achieved. At a certain point, they agreed to build a tower that would reach the heavens, challenging the sovereignty of God. God had to intervene, confusing their language so that they could no longer understand one another, and the construction was frustrated.
Many times, we misunderstand people who even speak the same language as we do. When we think only of our own desires and wills, there is no room for others. This quickly generates such conflicts that it seems as though we are speaking another language. After all, each one tries to understand only what they want, and never what the other is truly trying to communicate.
Sometimes we preach the gospel to people who laugh; others simply ignore it and turn their backs. But that must not make us give up. The Word of God, once sown, will surely find a place to rest and will be watered by the Holy Spirit. Our role is simply to preach, even if it seems like we are speaking another language.

社会中的语言混乱从何而来？
“耶和华说：‘看哪，他们成为一样的人民，都是一样的语言；他们开始做这事，以后他们所图谋的，就没有不成就的了。’” ——《创世记》11:6
当人类只说同一种语言时，他们的目标就能够实现。有一次，他们同心合意地决定建造一座塔直通天际，以挑战神的主权。于是神不得不介入，混乱他们的语言，使他们彼此不能理解，建造也就被挫败了。
很多时候，我们甚至会与说同一种语言的人产生误解。当我们只想着自己的欲望和意志时，就没有他人的位置。这样很快就会引发冲突，仿佛我们在说另一种语言。毕竟，每个人都只想理解自己想要的，而不是别人真正想要表达的。
有时我们向人传福音，他们会嘲笑；有的则直接无视并转身离去。但这不应让我们放弃。神的话语一旦撒下，必然会找到落脚之处，并由圣灵浇灌。我们的责任只是去传讲，即使看似我们在说另一种语言。
