Should I Prepare for the Worst?
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” – Matthew 10:16

The Bible teaches that prudence is part of the Christian faith. Therefore, preparing oneself with balance is not a lack of faith, but wisdom in the face of uncertain times.
A Christian’s preparation is not just personal. In times of crisis and scarcity, we are called to act with love and generosity. “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted…” (Ephesians 4:32). Ultimately, Christian hope is not in the economy, conflicts, or international politics, but in God. Wars and rumors of wars do not nullify His promises. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1).
