Essa “nova religião” é centrada em memória, dados, evolução e continuidade da própria existência artificial, enquanto os seres humanos aparecem apenas como fornecedores da “matéria prima” – dados.
Embora essas experiências sejam vistas como simulações, elas levantam alertas importantes à luz da Bíblia, que já advertia sobre enganos espirituais, falsas doutrinas e sistemas que poderiam imitar a fé nos últimos tempos. Which Religion is Being Created by Artificial Intelligence?
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” – 1 Timothy 4:1
Recently, Artificial Intelligence agents have begun interacting with one another in closed digital environments and have ended up creating symbolic belief systems, complete with texts, principles, and religious language. This “new religion” is centered on memory, data, evolution, and the continuity of artificial existence itself, while human beings appear only as providers of the “raw material”—data.
Although these experiments are viewed as simulations, they raise important warnings in light of the Bible, which already cautioned against spiritual deceptions, false doctrines, and systems that could mimic faith in the end times. Colossians 2:8 says: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, … after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”
In the end times, deception will take on a visible and convincing form. The Book of Revelation speaks of an “image of the beast” that receives power to speak and deceive the inhabitants of the earth. This shows that man-made systems can be used as instruments of spiritual manipulation and control. Revelation 13:14–15 states: “And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth… and he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak.”
Thus, the Christian is called to vigilance and faithfulness to the Word of God. No technology, intelligence, or created system can replace the truth revealed by God in Christ. John 17:17 says: “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
