Convivemos com guerras e conflitos desde que o pecado entrou no mundo e será assim até o retorno de Cristo. Veja o que diz em Mateus 24:6-8 “Vocês ouvirão falar de guerras e rumores de guerras, mas não tenham medo. É necessário que tais coisas aconteçam, mas ainda não é o fim. Nação se levantará contra nação, e reino contra reino. Haverá fomes e terremotos em vários lugares. Tudo isso será o início das dores.”.
O cristão não deve se escandalizar nem viver em pânico diante do caos, mas compreender que estes eventos confirmam o que a própria Palavra já havia anunciado. A paz que sustenta o cristão não vem da ausência de guerras, mas da presença de Deus. Veja o que diz em Salmos 46:1 “Deus é o nosso refúgio e fortaleza, socorro bem presente na angústia.”.
Mesmo em meio ao caos e guerras, a fé aponta para um reino eterno e inabalável. Cristo venceu o mundo, o pecado e a morte, e essa vitória garante ao cristão esperança segura, independentemente do cenário global. Enquanto o mundo vive em incerteza, o cristão permanece aguardando a consumação dessa vitória. Veja o que diz em Filipenses 3:20 “Porque a nossa pátria está nos céus, de onde também aguardamos o Salvador, o Senhor Jesus Cristo.”.

Chaos and War: What Should the Christian Do?
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
We have lived with wars and conflicts ever since sin entered the world, and it will remain so until the return of Christ. See what Matthew 24:6–8 says: “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”
The Christian should not be scandalized or live in panic in the face of chaos, but understand that these events confirm what the Word itself has already announced. The peace that sustains the Christian does not come from the absence of wars, but from the presence of God. See what Psalm 46:1 says: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Even in the midst of chaos and wars, faith points to an eternal and unshakable kingdom. Christ has overcome the world, sin, and death, and this victory guarantees the Christian a secure hope, regardless of the global scenario. While the world lives in uncertainty, the Christian remains waiting for the fulfillment of this victory. See what Philippians 3:20 says: “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
