A Inseminação Artificial ou fertilização in vitro são técnicas utilizadas para reproduzir e/ou substituir o processo natural de fecundação que gera a vida. A determinação de Deus para o ser humano de se multiplicar e encher a terra tem orientações que, se ignoradas, são consideradas pecado.
O que diz a Bíblia: Gênesis 2:24 “Por isso, deixa o homem pai e mãe, e se une à sua mulher, tornando-se os dois uma só carne.”; Hebreus 13:4 “Digno de honra entre todos seja o matrimônio, bem como o leito sem mácula; porque Deus julgará os impuros e adúlteros.”
A bíblia orienta que o “multiplicai-vos” é dado ao casal unido por Deus. A união sexual é abençoada dentro do casamento (uma só carne). A Bíblia condena atos sexuais fora do casamento, o que inclui gerar filhos fora dessa aliança.
A Inseminação Artificial ou fertilização in vitro rompe com o meio natural que Deus estabeleceu (a união sexual no casamento) para a concepção; milhares de embriões vivos são descartados e mortos no processo; promove a manipulação da vida contrária a ordenação e contra a submissão à vontade de Deus.
Para o casal que tem algum impedimento de ter filhos e não quer adotar, podem e devem orar. Deus é perfeitamente e suficientemente PODEROSO para curar uma enfermidade que impede a mulher ou o homem de reproduzir.

Is Artificial Insemination Considered a Sin?
“God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it…’” – Genesis 1:28
Artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization are techniques used to reproduce and/or replace the natural process of conception that generates life. God’s command for humankind to multiply and fill the earth comes with guidelines that, if ignored, are considered sin.
What the Bible Says:
Genesis 2:24 – “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
Hebrews 13:4 – “Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.”
The Bible teaches that the command “be fruitful and multiply” is given to the couple united by God. Sexual union is blessed within marriage (one flesh). The Bible condemns sexual acts outside marriage, which includes having children outside this covenant.
Artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization breaks away from the natural means God established (the sexual union in marriage) for conception; thousands of living embryos are discarded and destroyed in the process; it promotes the manipulation of life contrary to God’s order and submission to His will.
For couples who face infertility and do not wish to adopt, they can and should pray. God is perfectly and sufficiently POWERFUL to heal any condition preventing a man or woman from reproducing.
