Por Que Minha Fé Está Sendo Provada?

“Porque para mim tenho por certo que as aflições deste tempo presente não são para comparar com a glória que em nós há de ser revelada.” – Romanos 8:18

Enfrentamos provações que testam nossa fé e nos fazem questionar o propósito do sofrimento. O Apóstolo Paulo, que enfrentou prisões, perseguições e dificuldades extremas, nos ensina que as provações fazem parte do plano de Deus para fortalecer nossa fé e nos moldar à imagem de Cristo.

Quando Paulo pediu a Deus que removesse seu sofrimento, a resposta foi clara: a graça divina é suficiente. Veja em 2ª Coríntios 12:9 “A minha graça te basta, porque o meu poder se aperfeiçoa na fraqueza.”. Da mesma forma, quando nos sentimos fracos e sobrecarregados, podemos confiar que Deus está nos fortalecendo e nos ensinando a depender d’Ele completamente.

No fim de sua vida, Paulo pôde olhar para trás e ver que valeu a pena perseverar. Veja em 2ª Timóteo 4:7 “Combati o bom combate, acabei a carreira, guardei a fé.”. Nossa fé é provada para que possamos crescer espiritualmente e, no final, receber a coroa da vida. Falta pouco agora, vamos juntos até o final!

Why Is My Faith Being Tested?

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” – Romans 8:18

We face trials that test our faith and make us question the purpose of suffering. The Apostle Paul, who endured imprisonment, persecution, and extreme hardships, teaches us that trials are part of God’s plan to strengthen our faith and shape us into the image of Christ.

When Paul asked God to remove his suffering, the answer was clear: divine grace is sufficient. See 2 Corinthians 12:9: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” In the same way, when we feel weak and overwhelmed, we can trust that God is strengthening us and teaching us to depend fully on Him.

At the end of his life, Paul was able to look back and see that it was worth persevering. See 2 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Our faith is tested so that we may grow spiritually and, in the end, receive the crown of life. The end is near—let’s go together until the finish!
