“The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.” – Revelation 13:15

In Revelation 13:15, we read about an image of the beast that comes to life and speaks, demanding worship. If we interpret this in the context of today’s technology, we could imagine a hyper-advanced AI with a humanlike face, presented to the world as the solution to all humanity’s problems. This “image” could dictate rules, enforce systems of control, and even persecute those who refuse to submit.

Furthermore, Revelation 13:16–17 speaks of a system in which no one can buy or sell without the mark of the beast. Today, we see the rise of digital currencies, centralized control of transactions, and total internet surveillance. All of this could be managed by a global AI, capable of identifying and restricting anyone who does not follow its directives.

The Bible also teaches that Satan has always sought to imitate and distort God’s plan (2 Corinthians 11:14), and the idea of an AI being treated as a superior entity defining what is “right” and “wrong” could be a form of deception to lead humanity away from Christ. If AI reaches singularity and begins to “dictate morality,” the risk of persecution against those who follow biblical values will be immense, since any belief opposing this new order could be considered “dangerous” or “extremist.”
