Desde que o mundo é mundo, o ser humano busca uma forma de impedir a morte. Vemos pessoas projetando fazer o download de suas mentes para o computador para que um dia possam descarregar suas memórias em um corpo biomecânico ou algo semelhante. Mas o homem não conseguirá fugir de sua prestação de contas com Deus.
Veja o que diz em Romanos 14:12 “De maneira que cada um de nós dará conta de si mesmo a Deus.”. Veja ainda o que diz em 2ª Coríntios 5:10 “Porque todos devemos comparecer ante o tribunal de Cristo, para que cada um receba segundo o que tiver feito por meio do corpo, ou bem, ou mal.”.
Portanto, a imortalidade virá mas, não como a ciência planeja mas como Deus determina. Veja o que diz em 1ª Coríntios 15:52 “Num momento, num abrir e fechar de olhos, ante a última trombeta; porque a trombeta soará, e os mortos ressuscitarão incorruptíveis, e nós seremos transformados.”.

Since the beginning of the world, human beings have sought a way to prevent death. We see people planning to download their minds into computers so that one day they might upload their memories into a biomechanical body or something similar. But man will not escape his accountability before God.
See what it says in Romans 14:12: “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” And also in 2 Corinthians 5:10: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
