É comum vermos notícias sobre um avião que caiu e todos morreram. Normalmente quando isso acontece passamos a pensar mais em nossas vidas. O que estamos fazendo aqui? Para aonde vamos quando a morte – que é inevitável – chegar?
O fato é que estamos todos de passagem por aqui. Estamos todos dentro de um avião que possui apenas uma escala obrigatória e dois destinos definitivos. A escala obrigatória é a morte. Sim, todos nós vamos morrer um dia e não há como escapar disso. O que sobra é o destino final.
- Os que creram em Cristo seguem para o primeiro dia da eternidade ao lado do Senhor Jesus no paraíso, onde não haverá mais choro nem dor, nem lágrimas. Onde alcançaremos a felicidade completa para sempre.
- Os que não creram seguem para o lago de fogo reservado para aqueles que tiveram a oportunidade de crer, mas escolheram não acreditar em Cristo e passaram a viver suas vidas voltados para sua única e total satisfação.
A chave para o seu destino está em João 5:24 “Na verdade, na verdade vos digo que quem ouve a minha palavra, e crê naquele que me enviou, tem a vida eterna, e não entrará em condenação, mas passou da morte para a vida.”.

How to Know if We Are on the Last Flight?
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me…” – Psalm 23:4
It is common to see news about a plane crash where everyone dies. Normally, when this happens, we start to reflect more deeply on our own lives. What are we doing here? Where are we going when death – which is inevitable – comes?
The fact is that we are all just passing through here. We are all inside an airplane that has only one mandatory stop and two final destinations. The mandatory stop is death. Yes, all of us will die one day, and there is no escaping it. What remains is the final destination.
Those who believed in Christ will go to the first day of eternity at the side of the Lord Jesus in paradise, where there will be no more weeping, no more pain, no more tears. There, we will reach complete happiness forever.
Those who did not believe will go to the lake of fire reserved for those who had the opportunity to believe but chose not to trust in Christ, living instead only for their own self-satisfaction.
The key to your destination is found in John 5:24:
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”
