Algumas igrejas tem suas práticas e procedimentos internos criados por homens que, nem sempre, seguem uma orientação da bíblia, ou seja, são criados por homens e para homens.
A bíblia não mostra a necessidade de um curso ou nada semelhante para que o cristão seja batizado. Se você ler o livro de Atos, os que eram batizados não precisaram esperar nenhum dia sequer; não passaram por nenhum curso ou palestra sobre o batismo; não lhes foi imposta nenhuma norma ou regra que deveriam seguir dentro do templo para serem batizados.

Do I Need to Take a Baptism Course?
“…Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” – Acts 2:38
Some churches have their practices and internal procedures created by men, which do not always follow the guidance of the Bible. In other words, they are made by men and for men.
The Bible does not show the need for a course or anything similar for a Christian to be baptized. If you read the book of Acts, those who were baptized did not have to wait even a single day; they did not go through any course or lecture on baptism; nor were they subjected to any rule or norm imposed within the temple to be baptized.
See what it says in Acts 8:36-38: “As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, ‘Look, here is water. What prevents me from being baptized?’ And Philip said, ‘If you believe with all your heart, you may.’ The eunuch answered, ‘I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.’ And he ordered the chariot to stop. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.”
Do you know what he did to be baptized? He simply believed in Christ as his only and sufficient Lord and Savior. In this way, he was immediately baptized.
