“Mas o fruto do Espírito é amor, alegria, paz, paciência, amabilidade, bondade, fidelidade, mansidão e domínio próprio.” – Gálatas 5:22
Não há como ter domínio próprio sem ter o Espírito Santo de Deus. Todo o tipo de controle que houver sem o Espírito é temporário e não se sustenta.
Só existe um meio de ter os frutos do Espírito, para isso precisamos ter o Espírito Santo de Deus habitando em nós. E, para termos o Espírito Santo de Deus habitando em nós precisamos ter crido em Cristo como nosso único e suficiente Senhor e Salvador.
Isso não significa que teremos controle absoluto o tempo todo, mas que agora temos a Deus agindo dentro de nós para nos ajudar neste sentido.

I Can’t Control My Impulses, What Should I Do?
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” – Galatians 5:22
There is no way to have self-control without the Holy Spirit of God. Any kind of control that exists without the Spirit is temporary and unsustainable.
There is only one way to have the fruits of the Spirit — we must have the Holy Spirit of God dwelling within us. And for the Holy Spirit of God to dwell in us, we must have believed in Christ as our only and sufficient Lord and Savior.
This does not mean that we will have absolute control all the time, but that now we have God working within us to help us in this regard.

我无法控制自己的冲动，该怎么办？
“圣灵所结的果子，就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、温柔、节制。”——加拉太书 5:22
没有神的圣灵，就不可能拥有自制力。任何没有圣灵的控制都是暂时的，无法持久。
要结出圣灵的果子，唯一的途径就是让神的圣灵住在我们里面。而要让神的圣灵住在我们里面，我们必须相信基督是我们唯一且足够的主和救主。
这并不意味着我们时时刻刻都能完全控制自己，而是意味着现在神在我们里面工作，帮助我们做到这一点。
