“Todo o que o PAI me dá virá a mim; e o que vem a mim de maneira nenhuma o lançarei fora.” – João 6:37
É errado dizer que o pastor “fulano de tal” foi responsável por levar milhares de almas a Deus, ou que o pregador “tal” é o que mais ganha almas para o Senhor. Deus é o único que tem o poder de nos levar a Cristo como acabamos de ver no versículo acima e, portanto, Ele é o único digno de toda a honra, glória e louvor.
Precisamos entender que somos apenas ferramentas nas habilidosas mãos de Deus e, sendo assim, o poder de Deus flui através de nós por intermédio do Espírito Santo, que é quem realmente nos convence do erro e do pecado. Veja o que diz em João 16:7 e 8 “… se eu não for, o Consolador não virá a vós; … E, quando ele vier, convencerá o mundo do pecado, e da justiça e do juízo.”.
É válido reconhecer o esforço daqueles que oram por nossas vidas e se empenham no trabalho de levar o evangelho de Cristo, mas não podemos nos esquecer de que toda a honra, glória e louvor é do Senhor Jesus.

Who Wins Souls for God?
“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never cast out.” – John 6:37
It is wrong to say that “Pastor so-and-so” was responsible for bringing thousands of souls to God, or that a certain preacher is the one who wins the most souls for the Lord. God alone has the power to draw us to Christ, as we see in the verse above; therefore, He alone is worthy of all honor, glory, and praise.
We must understand that we are merely tools in the skillful hands of God. The power of God flows through us by the Holy Spirit, who is the one that truly convicts us of sin and wrongdoing. As stated in John 16:7–8: “… if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; … And when He comes, He will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.”
It is right to acknowledge the effort of those who pray for our lives and dedicate themselves to spreading the gospel of Christ, but we must never forget that all honor, glory, and praise belong to the Lord Jesus.
