O diabo exerce a função de adversário do ser humano após ter se rebelado contra Deus e ter sido expulso dos céus, perdendo sua glória e deixando de ser Lúcifer, o portador da luz e virando satanás – o adversário, com a função de acusar a humanidade acerca do pecado.
Roubar, matar, destruir e acusar são apenas algumas das ações que o diabo exerce na humanidade. Influenciando com o objetivo de destruir a criação, enquanto Cristo, em contrapartida, veio para que tenhamos vida e vida em abundância.

What Is the Function of the Devil in the Bible?
“…for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” – Revelation 12:10
The devil carries out the role of adversary to humanity after rebelling against God and being expelled from heaven, losing his glory and ceasing to be Lucifer, the bearer of light, becoming Satan—the adversary—whose function is to accuse humanity concerning sin.
Stealing, killing, destroying, and accusing are just some of the actions the devil carries out against humanity. He influences with the goal of destroying creation, while Christ, on the other hand, came so that we may have life, and life in abundance.
Satan operates through deception, blinding people’s understanding. His mission (among others) is the same as that of the thief mentioned in John 10:10. But it is important to remember that he has no power to touch any human being without God’s permission. Therefore, seek God, for the closer one is to the light, the farther one is from darkness.
