“Porque pela graça sois salvos, por meio da fé; e isto não vem de vós, é dom de Deus. Não vem das obras, para que ninguém se glorie;” – Efésios 2:8 e 9
Não somos capazes de merecer a salvação por nosso comportamento ou sequer por alguma ação que fazemos em vida. A salvação custou caro, o preço foi o sangue de Cristo e nenhum ser vivo é capaz de pagar isso que Jesus pagou na cruz.
Quando cremos em Cristo recebemos a salvação, veja o que diz em João 5:24 “… quem ouve a minha palavra, e crê naquele que me enviou, tem a vida eterna, e não entrará em condenação, mas passou da morte para a vida.”.
Por fim, não é pelo que você faz mas pelo que Cristo fez.

Is Salvation a Reward for Good Behavior?
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” – Ephesians 2:8–9
We are not able to deserve salvation by our behavior or by any action we perform in this life. Salvation came at a great cost; the price was the blood of Christ, and no living being is capable of paying what Jesus paid on the cross.
When we believe in Christ, we receive salvation. See what John 5:24 says: “…whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”
In the end, it is not about what you have done, but about what Christ has done.

“你们得救是本乎恩，也因着信；这并不是出于自己，乃是神所赐；也不是出于行为，免得有人自夸。”——以弗所书 2:8–9
