Não enfrente os desejos, a bíblia ensina a fugir deles como vemos em 2ª Timóteo 2:22 “Fuja dos desejos malignos da juventude …”. Esse versículo não está aí a toa, não temos a capacidade de bater de frente com nossas fraquezas, especialmente os desejos da carne, portanto fuja deles, saia de grupos, bloqueie sites e abra mão de pessoas e ambientes que te levam para o vício.
No lugar disso alimente a luz e as trevas não vão resistir, como vemos em Filipenses 4:8 “Quanto ao mais, irmãos, tudo o que é verdadeiro, honesto, justo, puro, amável, de boa fama, se há alguma virtude, e se há algum louvor, nisso pensai.”.
Por fim, a leitura diária da bíblia e oração vão te ajudar neste processo de libertação. Veja o que diz em João 8:32 “E conhecereis a verdade, e a verdade vos libertará.”.

How to Overcome Addiction Once and for All?
“But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.” – James 1:14
Do not try to confront these desires head-on; the Bible teaches us to flee from them, as seen in 2 Timothy 2:22: “Flee the evil desires of youth…” This verse isn’t there by accident. We do not have the strength to face our weaknesses face-to-face, especially the “desires of the flesh.” Therefore, run from them: leave groups, block websites, and let go of people and environments that lead you back to addiction.
Instead, nourish the light and the darkness will not prevail. As Philippians 4:8 says: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Finally, daily Bible reading and prayer will help you in this process of liberation. Remember what it says in John 8:32: “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
