Aprendemos com a bíblia que “o mundo jaz no maligno” e, estamos aqui para servir de testemunho de Cristo e fazer a vontade do Pai que é pregar o evangelho a toda a criatura. Somos LUZ em meio as trevas e, a luz só é necessária onde há escuridão.
Veja a passagem completa em Mateus 5:15 e 16 “… ninguém acende uma lâmpada e a coloca debaixo de uma vasilha. Pelo contrário, coloca-a no lugar apropriado, e assim ilumina a todos os que estão na casa. Assim brilhe a luz de vocês diante dos homens, para que VEJAM as suas boas obras e glorifiquem ao Pai de vocês, que está nos céus”.
Por fim, estamos neste mundo de trevas de passagem, não somos daqui. Em breve Cristo voltará para nos buscar e deve nos encontrar trabalhando para o reino. Veja o que diz em Atos 1:11 “… Este mesmo Jesus, que dentre vocês foi elevado ao céu, voltará da mesma forma como o viram subir.”. Falta pouco agora!

Why Does God Leave Us in a World of Darkness?
“For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.” – Isaiah 60:2
We learn from the Bible that “the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one,” and we are here to serve as a witness for Christ and to do the Father’s will, which is to preach the gospel to every creature. We are LIGHT amidst the darkness, and light is only necessary where darkness exists.
See the full passage in Matthew 5:15-16: “… Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may SEE your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Finally, we are only passing through this world of darkness; we do not belong here. Soon, Christ will return to take us, and He should find us working for the Kingdom.
